We come here often because the food is good and the price is right - no price increases for over 5 years. Members of staff are friendly and speak good English. The toilets are disgraceful and need a really good cleaning but one gets used to these kind of issues. Always carry hand-wipes with you!

We only went here twice during our stay in Hanoi (since we wanted to try a range of restaurants during our stay) but now wished we made it our local. Great food with friendly, welcoming service, at a good price.

Just had a fabulous meal here and after five weeks in Vietnam would have to admit this is overall the best food so far. We had 4 beers, a starter and two mains for £5.00 I had beef with chilli and lemongrass and it was superb rice was included! We have two more nights in Hanoi and there's no need... More

Thought we had found a diamond in the rough from reading other reviews but honestly was left wondering what the fuss was about. It was nice but certainly not anything to shout about. I think we paid ~ $8 for 2 mains inc drinks so for just a little more we could have got a lot better elsewhere

Sometimes you bump into a place like this and wonder why didn't you come here earlier. We were standing outside this cafe yesterday evening when two germans who came out said pretty convincingly that the food was good and you might like it since their portions were also adequate. So today after coming back from our Halong Bay cruise we... More

We couldnt believe it! So we came back everyday (sometimes for lunch and dinner in the same day!) Come here NOW!! (Also beers really cheap too:)!!... More

We came across lin phung after leaving the raved about Quan Mia Binh next door without eating due to concerns over hygiene. It was a great find! The menu is broad without being scary and the prices are simply incredible, especially as portions are generous and good delicious. The family running the restaurant are friendly and everything is delivered with... More

I recommend the Fresh Spring Rolls! This is some fantastic food (ate here twice) and at rock bottom prices! We stuffed ourselves and had a drink each and total bill was 128000 dong (around $6.40US/Aus) for two of us! Winning! Very tasty! Cheap beer and cheap smoothies ($1/19000dong). Noodle soup is great too!
