Don't be put off by the shabby looking entrance to this restaurant as inside it's a stylish upmarket restaurant. We had an excellent meal, a bit expensive by Vietnamese standards but still great value compared to what you'd get at home. Friendly and attentive staff. We sat inside and forgot to check out the outside area, which is meant to... More

If you need a break from all the street food in the old quarter, green mango offers something different without having to leave the neighborhood. From pizzas to noodles with a bit more of a Thai style, maintaining the air of Hanoi, it has something for everyone's taste. Hanoi's old quarter starts dyeing off after 22:00 and the streets grow... I have been here 4-5 times. I tried both Vietnamese and western dishes. The atmosphere is cool and relaxed, and it's a quiet corner (with a nice internal garden), ideal for a relaxing break. Prices are a bit high for Hanoi, but it's a place for tourists, with a higher standard, so it's normal. I liked very much the small... More

We had an excellent meal the other evening here. A romantic setting, sitting in the garden surrounded with candles and tropical plants. The food and wine was exotic , the service was excellent, all supervised by Adrian. An excellent place for a special occasion. A great find and certainly not disappointing. Smokers catered for!

Top quality, delightful meal. Friendly staff and a good venue. The bar through the back is also good for a few drinks.

Good quality Vietnamese and Western dishes. The staff are friendly and attentive. The cost is dearer than most Vietnamese restaurants but you get what you pay for. There is a nice bar to the rear of the restaurant and an indoor garden. Nice if you want to get away from the traffic.

Had a pizza there, which was fine. Service was good. 19$ for 2 Italian style pizzas and 2 drinks. A bit expensive for Vietnamese standards.

My partner and I ate here with our tour group in January 2014. We ordered an entree each, a main each, 4 cocktails and 4 Vietnamese iced coffee's and it came to $50AUD, In Australia you would be paying at least $180 for this meal if not more. Value is amazing, all of the food was great, I recommend as... More

Green Mango has an upmarket feel as you enter. The restaurant manager is a foreigner with excellent English. This will serve tourists well. As I went through the menu, it leans towards western tastes. Wine and cocktails are prominent features. Vietnamese staples are also available. Naturally, they are priced way above the countless noodle restaurants in Hoan Kiem. Tastewise, the... More

Four years ago when travelling through Vietnam we stumbled across this restaurant. After going back home to Australia, we constantly talked about the amazing grapes coated in goats cheese and cashews and the extensive cocktail list, but couldn't remember the name of the restaurant. Luckily on our most recent trip back to Hanoi we were able to find it again... More
