This is a warning to all - as I've eaten in over 20 countries and have have eaten at thousands of restaurants and this is by far the THE WORST experience I've ever had - no joke it was so unbelievable i thought I was on a reality TV show or something. Please read on: Approaching the restaurant we noticed... More

I was told it was a fabulous restaurant so had high hopes. I was disappointed. I had the steak with pepper sauce, fried potatoes and salad. The steak was tasty but tough. I asked for it rare and got well done. The potatoes were very good and so was the salad. Overall just ok. I would not go back.

Very pleasant cafe let down by incredibly poor service and average at best food. The two people serving spent all their time either eating, smoking or using mobile phones; did not even get asked if we wanted desserts or a coffee. The food we ordered was bland and wasnt what we ordered from the menu, i do not recommend this... More

Cafe de Paris is a nice quiet place in the noisy hustle of Hanois Old Quarter. It feels like beeing in Paris inside, the food is good and quiet authentic, prices are of course higher then the vietnamese restaurants but still reasonable.

Food and service is not up to standard... not worth the price. The worst duck confit I had....chocolate beverage is really thin....

We popped in here for a quick dinner as we were tired travelers. It reminded me of old Paris with an intimate atmosphere, and dark yellow/ocher walls. One of the staff was French. We ordered a simple meal of grilled chicken and potatoes. It was delicious and affordable. It was a nice break from months of eating Asia cuisine..

With fresh baguette and "Vache qui rit" on each corner as part of the Indochina heritage, why not trying a slice of typical french food in Hanoi... This bistrot type restaurant offers all the French favourites. We shared a quiche lorraine and a tartiflerte, both served with salad. Perfect for a light lunch or dinner. Not as good as the... More

I have eaten twice at the Cafe de Paris and I felt like I was in a cafe in the heart of Paris, rather than Hanoi, Vietnam. I have eaten the croque monsieur and fish provencale here and both were delicious and very tasty. The menu offers a good selection of dishes although there were several complaints about the quality... More
