I expected reasonably priced Vietnamese food cooked by people who know how to cook it and that's exactly what I got. Good service and my food was lovely.

I did. My 2nd day and 2nd lunch in the area. I have already been to two other restaurants on the first day (for lunch and dinner) and then her are New Day which is just a few steps from where I stay (Hanoi Guesthouse). I ate at around 2pm (late lunch) and ordered beef noodles and fried spring rolls,... More

Really enjoyed the food here. It's pretty simple and basic but the food is great, the service is good and friendly, the tables are communal and it is mostly locals who frequent. It;s also great value for the old quarter.

Went here twice and it was consistent both times - nothing spectacular about the food here. The servers are very nice and they have some pretty good fruit smoothies, but it's just pretty average food. The first time I went I got the pho, which was probably the best thing I tasted there. Otherwise, the meat is kinda sub-par and... More

Having been told about this place by fellow travelers we arrived at 6pm to find it crowded and had to share a table with another aussie couple. The service was a little slow but I excused that as being caused by the crowd of diners. Drinks were slow in arriving and even then they got the drink order, (2 x... More

Loved this place and we just kept coming back each day we were in Hanoi for either lunch or dinner. It is in the backpacker area of Hanoi on Ma May st where most hotels are around. Great food.

We ate here several times while staying in Hanoi and enjoyed the experience very much. It's a crazy busy place with no frills but the food and drinks are cheap and good quality and the service good. Try the fresh spring rolls - they are to die for!

Our first visit today, and can't wait to go back. Big serves, top service, cheap beer and mixed drinks. This place buzzes. Quality vietnamese food, not backpacker fodder. Will be back tomorrow

Great place to eat, amazing pork ribs and some great flavours. The staff are friendly and there is plenty of space upstairs though it does get quite busy!
