We stayed 5 nights at the Rising Dragon Palace. To be fair, we were told when we booked in that the restaurant was a top 10 restaurant in Vietnam. We wanted to sample all the local foods though, so went out for our Bun Cha, Pho, and other superb local foods. On our last night, we wanted to send our... More

Nice view of Hanoi from this rooftop outdoors restaurant. However, the staff was well meaning but very inexperienced and inefficient. Young kids with no one around to supervise them. The food was tasty but the portions were small and the prices significantly higher than in other restaurants.

food was good and the view was great. Remember it's a tourist restaurant in a hotel though. Also the patio/balcony isn't heated so be prepared.

Overall a great experience. We took another reviewers advice and booked ahead and secured a great table on the outside rooftop, it is not a large restaurant so booking is a good idea. The food was delicious and well priced. The service was good and staff friendly. Highly recommend it.

Excellent food, wine and service. One of the best so far in Hanoi. Very pleasant and clean surroundings, attentive staff and wide variety of local food. Creme brulee very good. Well worth a visit and worth the extra cost given the high standard overall...........................................will be going again, so my other half tells me!!!!!!!!!!!

Trip Advisors high rating of this restaurant is right on. Food was all delicious and the ambience on the roof top was great. Prices were very reasonable as well. Make sure to make a reservation and ask for outdoor rooftop

After a long hot day of travelling, we were looking for a traditional VNese meal in a relax, quite environment. The Rising Dragon Restaurant was fantastic. A beautiful view of the Old Quarter (located on 8th floor), exceptional staff and delicious food. The meal was the highest quality and was very affordable. A wonderful way to end up your tired... We have been to Rising Dragon Restaurant last week, thanks to someone's recommendations, it is a great restaurant which serves a wide selection of local dishes. We particularly like their Bun Cha which is delicious. All our meal just 18usd for one starter and main course, quite reasonable for a star restaurant. Service is quick and excellent, staff speak English... More

My girlfriend and I went here for a birthday meal on our first night in Hanoi - we were not disappointed. Food was excellent and we couldn't fault the staff at all. The restaurant is on the rooftop of the Rising Dragon Palace Hotel and the views over the old quarter were lovely - it really shows off the charm... More

We had dinner at Rising Dragon and ate on the roof-top patio overlooking the city night lights. The view was wonderful and the food excellent. We had Vietnamese fare and wine--all fairly priced. Service was excellent. We'd go back again! Their roll-your-own rice paper main dish was the hit of the night.
