Description: An intimate bar greets you upon entry where you can have a tipple or two...
An intimate bar greets you upon entry where you can have a tipple or two before adjourning to the main dining room. Located just beside the scenic West Lake, the wide windows provides a majestic view of the water. Tuck into hearty and comforting signatures while being tended to by our warm and friendly servers. And private rooms for meetings and parties on the upper floor. Halia's cuisine is a marriage of European traditions and light Asian flourishes. The food is modern yet classical, adventurous yet familiar. Try our signatures such as the Shrimp satay ginger flower salad, Beef carpaccio with flavours of Vietnam, Javanese spice rack of lamb, Crabmeat pignolina pasta "rieu cua" sauce and Singapore-style chilli crab spaghetti. For desserts, dig into rich Vietnamese coffee creme caramel, or the Caramelised mango and lemongrass tart with coconut ice cream.

This restaurant is famous in Singapore, this time my visit to Hanoi, I would like to try! The restaurant is located close to my hotel, Intercontinental Hanoi, around ten minutes walk, not far away! I am the first guest, actually only two tables in the lunch hour, very comfortable! I ordered two courses with soup and beef as the main... More

My husband and I are staying at the Intercontinental, Westlake, just a few minutes walk from this charming restaurant. Although it was very quiet (post-yet), we were given a warm welcome, and a complimentary cocktail on arrival, with charming service from the host and waitress. We had seen the menu beforehand, so knew we wanted to share the whole chicken,... More

Originally went with a co-worker to have a couple beers with dinner, and kinda stumbled on this classy joint. First impression wasn't great. We both wanted a Sapporo beer, and because Tet has just recently happened, they were out of our choice beer, as well as a couple other items. I was keen to try the whole roasted baby pumpkin... My wife and I came here on the last night of a six night stay in Hanoi. This was the best restaurant that we experienced in Hanoi and we were fortunate to have eaten in many good restaurants - not in hotel restaurants which are also good but often expensive. The service was excellent and the food was very good.... More

came here for the set menu at lunch time. everything is well presented, tasty. the service is great, very personal and not overly done. it does suffer slightly from the usual big price small portion syndrome these fancy restaurants usually have, but as an overall experience, I felt it was worth it.

Have been to the original Halia in Singapore so wanted to try the one in Hanoi. Food was up to expectation and the service level just blew us away. Our server Tao Ha was so attentive throughout the meal. I'm not a good tipper but there was no way I was leaving without tipping the crew. Even while waiting for... More

It took us three attempts to get there but so pleased we made it. Very interesting menu with many choices, wine list is good, we chose an Italian pinot grigio which complimented the meal. We ate beef rendang and chilli crab pasta, both signature dishes. Desserts are special too. The service was delightful, Nga took time to explain dishes and... More
