Description: An intimate bar greets you upon entry where you can have a tipple or two before adjourning to the main dining room. Located just beside the scenic West Lake, the wide windows provides a majestic view of the water. Tuck into hearty and comforting signatures while being tended to by our warm and friendly servers. As you end your evening at the Halia, savour a night cap in our exclusive whisky den on the upper floor. Halia's cuisine is a marriage of European traditions and light Asian flourishes. The food is modern yet classical, adventurous yet familiar. Try our signatures such as the Shrimp satay ginger flower salad, Beef carpaccio with flavours of Vietnam, Javanese spice rack of lamb, Crabmeat sweet potato gnocchi "rieu cua" sauce and Singapore-style chilli crab spaghetti. For desserts, dig into rich Vietnamese coffee creme caramel, or the Caramelised mango and lemongrass tart with coconut ice cream.

After 1 brunch and 2 set lunches, I finally managed to get back to Halia to try their 3 course set dinner menu (a steal at 440K, there is also a 4 course for 800K) and again I was very impressed by the food. The grilled tuna was fantastic and seared to perfection. Everything else was great as well. Interestingly... More

I had a very enjoyable lunch here while solo in Hanoi. The Manager took great care of me. But the atmosphere was very refined and relaxing. Prices are reasonable, and the wine was spot on. How I wish I had more time in Hanoi for a return visit!

We eat here all the time! We particularly love the duck, Caesar salad and the potato wedges with truffle aioli!!! Great place to eat in Tay ho!

Dishes are delicious and high quality. The service is top class in Hanoi and the place so quiet for a Sunday lunch. All the staff is professional and very kind and you can also enjoy the good music selection. For us, this is a little heaven in Hanoi.

We had a family brunch here & we order Egg Benedict & Chicken Pot Pie. The egg is no doubt the best we have in Hanoi so far. The pie is rather watery inside for us...The service is the very best in town - baby seat & silverware, attentive & friendly staff.
