Description: Bun bo Nam Bo is marinating the beef, then comes making 'nuoc cham' and the pickled vegetables (shredded carrot and papaya). The pickled vegies is crispy, a little sour and a little sweet, which even makes me eat two bowls of the noodle at once. Remember to pickle the carrot (and papaya first, before marinating the beef) since it takes at least 1 hour to get a good flavor on the carrot.

This was a great little place to enjoy local food with locals and foreigners alike, it was definitely worth the 55k dong!

It's was really taste . We arrived here many times, my girl friend and I really enjoyed with Bun Bo, it's the traditional the South in Vietnam. Beef noodle here was different than other. It's not too much sup inside. If you would like to taste a little in the South of Vietnam, let come to try it.

Have a seat, order a bowl, enter cheap noodle heaven. Very nice balance of flavors, 55,000 dong is a very reasonable price for delightful noodles and beef.

I recommend the bun bo nam bo - it's essentially the only dish! It's very tasty. A cheap (~3.50 CAD with a soft drink), quick, and satisfying meal. Authentic Vietnamese dining!

Walked into this place on our first night in Hanoi and hadn't a clue how things worked. A staff member came over and seated us and gave us the '2' sign with his fingers which we agreed with. What came out was outstanding. In literally a couple of minutes we had our first taste of Vietnam in front of us... More

The food in Vietnam is excellent all over, but this little place ranks #2 of all the food I had in the 2 weeks I spent in Vietnam. An absolute "do not skip". We were recommended this place and I know why. Side note: they have some awards on the wall (including some TripAdvisor ones). The menu has about 4... More

This little hole in the wall was awesome. We had the noodles with beef. It came within minutes of us sitting down. You can see then cooking the beef in a wok when you walk it. It was excellent. It comes with bean sprouts, garlic, lemongrass, crushed peanuts on top. You then mix it all together and you can add... More

A must try dish if you ever come to Hanoi. The local beef, the vegetables and all the other ingredients were amazing. The staff are very friendly, I definitely will come this tiny restaurant again next time we visit Hanoi.
