Located in the old quarters in Hanoi, the highlight of this restaurant is the large variety of vegetarian food that it offers, which is otherwise quite difficult to find in Hanoi old quarters. We had the claypot dishes, tofu and aubergine - tasted great and were quite filling. The pricing here is higher than what you would find at other... More

This place is advertised as vegetarian but it's not the case. We had grilled honey chicken, some spring rolls and some sort of tortilla which had a vegetarian satay filling. yum! Safe place for kids, comfy seats and even a red or white wine by the glass. Our bill came to 700k vnd for 2 adults and 2 kids and... More

We had a very enjoyable meal here. The staff were pleasant and helpful and the best part is there is no any language barrier there. We can order food with English or even Mandarin. Their menu offers a range of dishes, from Vietnamese to vegetarian, and a small selection of western meals Great atmosphere, great food, great price. Super comfy... More

We ate at the restaurant several times and enjoyed. We were also meat eaters and vegetarians and selection was enough for everyone. Dishes were excellent and reasonably priced good service

Tamarind Cafe is a very good restaurant with quite a diverse range of food options. I went there expecting to find only vegetarian options, but there is much more than that. I get the impression it must be related to sister restaurants elsewhere in Asia as they also had Thai and Taiwanese options on the menu. As mentioned by most... More

I had a very tasty, very reasonably-priced Thai green curry. For outside Thailand, relatively authentic and certainly good! The staff were friendly and the ambience comfortable. The music was a bit loud and cheezy for my liking (Bryan Adams, 'Anything I do...' type of stuff) but I'd definitely go back.

I ate here for breakfast 3 days in a row it was so tasty. And VEGETARIAN! Good wifi, usually pretty quiet, and ultimately worth a few extra dollars for the quality of their ingredients.

Everything was fantastic! Great atmosphere, great food, great price. Super comfy chairs, nice music and lovely staff. Menu offers a range of dishes, from Vietnamese to vegetarian, and a small selection of western meals. A bowl of Pho bo costs 45,000 VND and is probably the best my friend ate in Ha Noi. There at many fresh fruit juices on... More
