We came to this restaurant as it was highly recommended for vegetarians (my partner being vegetarian). But things have changed now. They have limited options for veggie only food. Pho was great but mushroom noodles were just ok. Major downside for us was the service. The staff was a bit frazzled and mixed up our orders and our bills

Came here for breakfast while waiting for a bus to Halong Bay. The pho bo took 40min to arrive. When it did it was terrible...the worst pho I have ever tried. No onion...no taste and fatty. Half way through my fiancee found a dead cockroach in her pho. The waiter apologised and suggested we only pay for the pho without... More

Wanted to visit Tamarind Cafe, but a different name now. Staff are obviously new and quite clueless. No longer vegetarian, but some veggie options, which were tasty enough. The happy hour signs from Tamarind are still up, but not honoured!!

Located right next to where we stayed (Tu Linh), this is a great cafe for vegetarians which is a rare thing in Vietnam !! The coffee was great and so were the eggs. The staff was good and the decor was cozy.

I am not vegetarian ... This establishment caters for all. Very nice juice drinks and s very nice choice of food. Friendly environment with subtle music. I did ask for another beer, but revived the bill. Same with a traveller sitting near me. Maybe a lack of understanding. I could have said no and got another beer but it did... More

In one if the lanes a quaint little restaurant serving vegatarian and nonveg food. Great juices, good size portions and friendly staff. The best dish was the thai glass noodle salad. Worth a try.

I have been a vegetarian my entire life and felt the food at this restaurant was disgusting, over priced, and made me severely sick soon after. Not only was the food horrible but we were bit by fleas while eating on their couched seats!! I am shocked by the reviews people have left. If you have any sense do not... More

Stopped here on the 'Lonely Planet street walk' for some lunch. Quite an old run-down place but the food was good. I ordered the vegetable clay pot which was delicious (as rice at bottom). My Mum ordered the sweet-potato... this was very dry - desperately needed some butter or sauce!
