Good tapas, excellent paella

Its new location is larger and more modern, all on one floor, but not as conviently located for tourists who don't rangr far from the Old Quarter. The menu and wait staff remain the same. I'm a fan of the tapas, but friends have raved about dishes from the other menu. Service is good but yet to... read more

We used to come here two years ago & it was excellent. This time we found that the restaurant had been extended. The majority of the tables are now outside. No air-conditioning, it was quite uncomfortable. My steak special was good but my wif'es seafood salad turned out to be seafood with garnish, not a salad,

First, we are very sorry for the discomfort, but you must have mistaken our restaurant (La Salsa Bui Thi Xuan) for the other La Salsa (Xuan Dieu). We actually don't have any table outside, and our air-conditions work very well. Since it's a misunderstanding, please remove this review of yours so that it won't affect our average rating. Hope you... More

We love the charcuterie at La Salsa - lots of good cheese and pate, a great bakery, and wine and spirits available at not too outrageous prices. The restaurant is also nice, overlooking the water, but depending on which way the wind is blowing, can be somewhat smelly; be warned!

Hi Pamela, It is great to know that you love the restaurant. We would love to inform you that La Salsa Nha Tho has relocated to a new address: No 5 Bui Thi Xuan Street, Hai Ba Trung District. It is quite close to 25 Nha Tho and very central also. Looking forward to welcoming you again! Lynn D -... More

The Things I love about La Salsa: Perfect for when you're tired of Vietnamese food Very affordable tapas - we had the bruschetta, meatballs, clams, mushrooms, chorizo. All very good and comes with complementary bread (french, of course) Drinks - as a wine drinker, its nice to be able to have some decent wine to drink. Sangria was pretty good... More

Nice homemade feel about this place serving all manner of tapas and Spanish dishes with a French touch as well. Very reasonable prices wont leave you out of pocket. Staff seem friendly as well. Recommend highly

I enjoyed a very good meal at La Salsa: tapas, cheese plate, soup, salmon and lemon pie. It eas a bit pricy but I had my moneýs worth. I received a good advice for the main dish from the manager.

By and large our party struggled to find reasonable eateries in Hanoi.....and then we found La Salsa near the Cathedral on our last night in Hanoi. The menu displayed outside looked very good so we entered sat and received the low down on what was on offer that night. It didn't include tapas! Puzzled looks and quick exit as we... More

Authentic tapas in Hanoi!! A great find. Reasonably priced and some of the best tapas we've encountered outside of Spain. The fried calamari is excellent, as is the Tortilla, the meatballs, the pan tomaca (bruschetta), etc! The Sangria is also very good - not too sweet. And the service is good too.
