If you like I've cream, you should really take a trip to Fanny. With more then 30 (I think) flavours, so there should be something for everyone. I'm definitely going back next time in Ha Noi.

Fanny's an established name for ice cream in Ha Noi is even better than before in its new home a restored villa in the centre of town. Set on a corner with seating outside on the terrace as well as in the air-conditioned comfort inside. The range of flavours and mouth watering ice cream deserts is large and varied. Service... More

I have been to Fanny many times but this is the first time I have been to this new address on Ly Thuong Kiet street. The whole French style restaurant is different from the old one, the ice cream and dessert menu is completely different with all flavours available. It has its own creative dishes which made an impressive ice... More

We arrived in Hanoi and were told we should go and "have Fanny's Ice Cream by the Lake" by quite a number of people - it was even marked on the map our hotel gave us. After a few times sauntering around the lake in an evening we never seemed to come across it. Eventually we googled it and sought... More

Many things have changed and improved since my last review about the place. It's much cleaner and managed properly now. Fanny has also adapted to International Ice creams adding stuff inside the ice creams to create different feelings and tastes. There was a big party on the second floor but we were on the terrace so we were not disturbed.

Fanny provided a nice place to unwind and cool down after an afternoon in the French Quarter. We tried the coffee sundae and the happy cubes and found ourselves far more impressed by the sundae, which was extremely tasty. The only negative here is that it's quite pricey by Vietnamese standards - our snack here (a bit over 10 USD)... More

The atmosphere is great with a nice terace providing a good place to relax and enjoy the ice creams. The ice cream menu offer a large range of choice and when I am in Hanoi I go there almost everyday to try the different one. It's always a pleasure to it Fanny's ice cream.

Prior to our trip to Hanoi, we had heard that Fanny's was the place to go to try cinnamon ice cream. We hunted this place down one night after a full day of exploring and we were not disappointed. Fanny's has a ton of flavors that one doesn't find in the United States: Avocado, Cinnamon, Durian, Soursop, Dragon Fruit, Salted... More
