Very Nice

Visited here as part of a tour. The restaurant is well located in what appears to be an old colonial building. Well appointed with friendly, efficient staff. We were starving after a big morning in the old quarter and found this restaurant through reviews online. Was great food and great service, however the atmosphere would be well suited for dinner - with draped curtains and French decor it would suit a couple who are after a romantic dinner.

We had read many reviews about Ly Club and after our recent experience we were disappointed. The food was ok, the staff pushed drinks and service was mediocre. There are many places which offer better food and atmosphere.

The place itself and the atmosphere are good, the live music on traditional instruments is not really necessary, the food is a mixture between french and vietnamese and overall very good. Staff is attentive. Nothing wrong here, great place for dinner... business or pleasure.

Restaurant is in a colonial house, great atmosphere, live music and great food. What else can a person wish for. They serve good quality food, well prepared..a mix of western and asian. The winelist is good so have a try. The staff is friendly and attentive and price is reasonable. One of the better restaurants in Hanoi in my opinion.... More

Had a very pleasant dinner here. The food is a mixture of French and Vietnamese with plenty of space, attentive staff, and good local wine (dalat). also well located for the centre of town.

I loved the clam salad and the Five Elements cocktail which included a zingy combination of Asian spices. However, the overall cuisine was too expat French for my liking - though others will surely love it. Also, while I was initially impressed at how well the menu was written, it didn't actually state that many of the dishes we ordered... More

We were told the Ly Club was a must to try in Hanoi. What a disappointment, the food whilst not terrible, was bland and overpriced. The atmosphere dull with a pianist going through the motions. The staff looked bored and uninterested. Certainly in our opinion not worth the money.

Great atmosphere created by imaginative decor, musician and attentive staff. Cuisine was a good mixture of local and western food. Good wine list. Highly recommended.

Great food, great drinks, great prices! The services was impeccable. We were only in Hanoi for one night...if we had stayed longer, we would have returned for another go at the amazing menu!
