Absolutely stunning restaurant. On our first day in Hanoi we had an exceptional dinner here - one starter was pork and chicken spring rolls with fish sauce, the other prawn and tuna spring rolls with a spicy dip. Mains were belly pork roasted in spicy sauce with rice and salmon with assorted vegetables. Exquisite food, piping hot, beautifully presented, excellent... More

Less than a 10-minute walk from the Hilton Opera hotel. We had a group of 8, got a reservation through our hotel concierge without any problem. Probably due to our late reservation, we got seated on the 3rd floor and got the whole room to ourselves, and had a dedicated server. So service was great. We ordered from 2 different... More

Read and was told it should be one of the best restaurants in hanoi so gave it a try . Nice live Vietnamese music , og friendly waiters who also had a smile on. But food nothing special - many of the local eateries in old town easy beats quality of food. Had soup, friied prawns, entre cote, and desert.... More

Saw reviews on TA and decided to go here. hadn't realised it was so close to the Metropole hotel. Charming old building with high ceilings, old fashioned atmosphere in a good way, attentive service and lovely food at very reasonable prices. Really enjoyed it

This restaurant is on a quiet street close to the Opera and nearby hotels. A reservation is recommended as this is a busy restaurant. The main restaurant was full on our 2nd visit and a further dining on the 1st floor was opened and quickly filled. The menu provides both Vietnamese and international dishes. Food is excellent and presented well.... More

My girlfriend found this restaurant in one of our travel books. We went up there, and was very impressed by the beautiful kolonial building. The waiters were all very sweet and helpful. We will definitely recommend this restaurant.

We came here following a recommendation from Lonely Planet but it was probably the worst meal we had during our trip. There was nothing wrong with it - beautiful restored French colonial house, very good service and a buzzy atmosphere but we just thought it was over rated for the price. The food was bland - it certainly didn't live... More

Really cozy place in the higher price range. I paid 650.000vd for a 3 course dinner + water and a juice. Appetizer and main were fantastic. Small (Asian ) portions. Dessert was ok, but not something I would order again. The staff were really friendly and professional. Perfect balance of attention and letting me enjoy my dinner in my own... More

We had read great things about this restaurant and having had some excellent street food in Hanoi decided to try something a bit upmarket. The ambience is great - faded French colonial, and the service is wonderful. The wine list is very good with a very reasonably priced Mendoza malbec. However the big let down was the food. We had... A safe choice of restaurant but without flair. To be fair we chose the set tasting menu for ease as we were rather jet lagged but it was disappointing and the food lacked any memorable flavours. It cost significantly more than elsewhere and the bland food was not worth it. Found much better restaurants over next few days.
