If you have had enough of the excitement of the street this eating house offers a quiet up market experience. This was only spoilt by having to talk over a solo pipe player, fortunately he finished at 8.30 and didn't start again. The food was very tasty, vietnamese or western al a carte or set meal recommendations cost is maximum... More

The beef in bamboo main was amazing, however I got the banana fritters for dessert where other members of the table got profiteroles and the portion sizes were massively different. Though all in all a great experience

Ate here on our honeymoon - the restaurant was recommended to us by our guide and was close to our hotel. The waiting staff were friendly and attentive - the cocktails were very tasty! We had a set menu and it was great - ginko nut soup, red snapper, honey beef and the aubergine and minced beef main was great.... More

We visited this restaurant during our visit to Hanoi in March. The food was very good, the ambience quite nice and there was even a live pianist playing which was a nice touch. Try the trio of creme brulee!

This was a great experience. The food was excellent, clean tastes, well spiced and nothing overpowering. First course of 5 flavours using leaves, interesting and very good. Pumpkin and crab soup subtle and refined. Soft shell crab great. Mains were very good. Service was excellent, attentive, delightful and very professional. About 100 us for two, but we had four courses... More

Located in an old French Colonial house, Ly Club is one of the great places for foodies in Hanoi. You have the choice between 2 a la carte menus (east and west) as well as 8 set menus. We opted for the vietnamese food. Scallops (highly recommend) and calamari a for starters, then fried snapper (was good but not great)... More

Went to Ly a club after research on TA and concierge recommendation (as it was within walking distance of our hotel). We were advised that this was an upper scale resto. It is located in the French quarter near high end hotels and boutiques. Pricing is in keeping with higher end restaurants in Hanoi -similar to the neighbouring restaurants found... More

Few steps from the Metropole Hotel, old colonial building, nice atmosphere it takes you back to the old days in Hanoi, especially with the piano played by a young Vietnamese lady. Food is good a nice fusion cuisine, I liked the Star Anis and cinnamon wood in the small plate, which enhances your taste buds to appreciate the aromatic cuisine. The food... More
