The service is all that you would expect from a first class restaurant, attentive, helpful and unobtrusive. The ambience is a little too clinical for our tastes: warmer, more subdued lighting would improve things. And the food is carefully prepared, nicely presented and very tasty. This, in our opinion, is not quite Michelin star standard: the food is not quite... More

This rates as one of the most exceptional meals I have experienced. The menu is french inspired and did not disappoint. I shared the chateaubriand with my daughter and followed it up with crepe suzette. The wines were superbly matched to the cuisine. The Sommelier was knowledgeable, well travelled and experienced and more than happy to share his experiences which... More

Absolutely amazing dinner here... we both ordered the lobster bisque which was finished and served at the table and a steak that they make as a specialty of the restaurant that is served with foie gras and black truffle sauce and I honestly nearly passed out with delight. It was the best thing I have tasted in my life... A... More

From the greeting to the farewell, my wife and I had as good a fine dining experience as we'd had anywhere in the world.Food and service excellent. The only minor negative was the elevator style music piping through the restaurants sound system.

What was the chef thinking that s/he could serve a coq au vin dish that contained chicken so tough it would not yield to a knife, in a gravy so dark and lacking in delicacy it should have belonged to an overlooked pot roast! Dessert was crepes suzette, a simple dish really, but this version was, well, soggy. This is... More

This is to voice a slight concern about the evolution of food quality at the buffet over the past weeks. The price of the weekday buffet restaurant has not changed over more than 1 year, while inflation is running high. So it's likely that they have to cut costs? Problem is, this seems to be having an influence on the... More

We are staying at the hotel and decided to have a French style dinner after being in Vietnam for almost one week. What a great experience! The wine selection was much better than some of our NYC places... The steak that he had was cooked perfectly and my onion soup, very French! Two thumbs up!

I went here specifically for the steak bearnaise; as so highly recommended from friends and family who have stayed and dined here. I ordered medium rare; but got very little pink. The bearnaise sauce seemed ready to separate; as if it had sat too long in the heat. I found this to be most disappointing when considering price and reputation.... More

We wanted to end our stay in Hanoi with something memorable, as such we dined at the Beaulieu. And what we discovered was a variety of excellent foods. I ordered a deliciously tender medium-well salmon with herb butter sauce. Even the kid's menu was great - my son had his tomato soup poured right in front of him onto little... More
