We wanted to end our stay in Hanoi with something memorable, as such we dined at the Beaulieu. And what we discovered was a variety of excellent foods. I ordered a deliciously tender medium-well salmon with herb butter sauce. Even the kid's menu was great - my son had his tomato soup poured right in front of him onto little... More

Chef Olivier(s) totally indulged me over dinner at this beautiful restaurant. The attention to detail during the service was exemplary, the food was simply delicious and most definitely the best meal I've ever had, especially the foie gras, caviar and the poached beef... Infact, the degustation menu was simply perfect. The atmosphere was generally formal and the staff was extremely... More

Had dinner at this restaurant in the Metropol Hotel in Hanoi to celebrate my birthday. Amazing food and wine and excellent service. The sommelier was exemplary. The chef has made an astounding effort with the degustation menu, even came to meet us at our table. Truly the highlight of our trip to Hanoi.

Priced at the higher end, fresh food, attentive but not too intrusive service. Oysters were delicious, as was the coq au vin! Go if you feel like splurging a little..

We tried out 3 times French food during our stay in Hanoi , first in currently top ranked French restaurant then to this restaurant twice. Twice bcos the food were good and because we stayed nearby and we got great value with the Accor Advantage discount. However, because we use the discount card we were vehemently warned almost suggesting we... More

As a family experience, the weekday buffet is wonderful: great environment, lots of impeccably prepared and great-tasting food, and gently attentive service. On two occasions I invited students there, not just to share this luxurious experience, but also as a model of an impeccably well-done job. At Le Beaulieu buffet, guests can choose any dish they like and be confident... More

We lived in France for some years and I must say that the food at le Beaulieu was simply worth it. The price is not cheap but for its excellent quality in service, food, and historic atmosphere, I say this is a must do in Hanoi. If you're not a big eater but would like to try many dishes as... We enjoyed a reunion birthday dinner with six friends in mid March 2014. The setting and the ambiance of Le Beaulieu cannot be bettered: it's a beautifully appointed restaurant, in one the nicest hotels in the world. The food itself was very good, with the menu dégustation being particularly attractive. The wine list is extensive, with selections from all over... More

We were told by friends to go ther for "very good french cuisine". We went there for lunch and found there was only buffet. It was really just so so. When the bill was brought to us, we found we ended up paying about $45 per person. Really not worth it! Maybe should have gone for dinner?
