Cosy bar and great band !

Coming from Saigon whenever I'm in Dalat and looking for live music I would definitely go to the Vcafe or the Escape bar. Great food and drinks and probably the only place in town that has a decent band playing the rock n roll and blues!! Rock on!

The owner is rude and confrontational. We were a group of eight out for the evening and when the music started the performers speaker was cracking destroying his work. When one of us suggested he replace the speaker, there were several on stage, the owner jumped up on stage and with mike in hand verbally attacked us. Bowing in front... More

Group of 10 of us went out for what should have been a great night out - sadly ruined by arrogant and obnoxious King. Stumbled around, tripped over the mic wires constantly and had to be helped by a waitress. Then walked up to our wives and made obscene gestures with his tongue. One of the husbands went to speak... Five of us came for a few drinks after dinner one night after reading some good reviews. However, the music was way too loud to converse and the prices for drinks were quite expensive compared to other establishments in the area. Also, one of the musicians/staff, whom I believe may be the owner (asked one of the waiters and said... More

We read a few reviews on this place and went for an evening drink here. The musicians on show are no doubt good at what they do but the drinks are a bit steep for what we wanted and not ideal for chatting to friends over a drink as it's pretty loud. That said, if you're a blues fan and... More

Went there and ordered a cheese burger not expecting it to be any good but when we got it was delicious! And the fries were so amazing! Homemade from the potatoes that they grow on their farm! Yum!!

This place was a good little bar with ok cocktails and nice food however slightly overpriced compared to other places in the area. The music, the band and the atmosphere is great!

We came to Escape Bar following dinner at another of the owner's nearby restaurants, V Cafe. Hands down, the best part is the live music. We have several live music venues in Saigon, but none like Escape Bar where it's a bunch of friends jamming together and having a great time. Music is the owner's passion and he really channels... They have one of the most amazing band I've ever known. First impression is the friendly atmosphere, even though the place is almost empty at that time. I chose the most comfortable chair with my back against the stage, then the vocalist made me turn my head the moment he started playing and singing Someone Like You. He even took... More

Prices here were way too high for what was being offered. No one was there when we got in at 8:30pm, had some beers and left. Maybe it gets more crowded on weekends but considering the reviews we expected more.
