Love the food at this chilled-out family restaurant

My partner and I ate here most days we were in Dalat. The staff are quiet and unrushed, but not unfriendly. We had chilled fresh coconuts and rice paper rolls (best in Dalat!) most days, and tried the pancake, the braised eggplant, and the Satay rice, from what I can remember. My partner liked the... read more

Their lemongrass chili tofu is absolutely to die for. We also loved the braised eggplant. It seems that any dish is a win here. Attentive staff and quite cheap for tourists too! Despite the vegetarian label there's plenty of meat (mainly goat, beef, chicken) and some seafood on the menu too.

Recently had dinner at Nhat Ly after an absence of some months. The restaurant has "Lunch Diner" in English and French on the front window. The range of food is more than adequate with local dishes and dishes familiar to foreigners. I really liked the sweet and sour pork with boiled rice. My wife had chicken and vegetables and the... Came here on a Sunday about 2pm and the place had ran out of basically every dish. The staff were great but it was a little embarrassing for them to say that they had basically nothing left. The portions were huge though and excellent quality - I'll have to be sure to come earlier next time!

This restaurant is owned by a famous Vietnamese film director in US. His father also very well known film maker. So don't forget to ask for talking with Mr. Minh, his story will show you another Dalat...

Overall good food, but it seemed weird they didn't have tofu as for vegetarian restaurant. Portions are big, the price is ok.

I went there with my friend-a not-really vegetarian. I Looked for a vegetarian eatery on internet and found out 3 of them. We came here by accident. I was impressed by its classical and quiet environment. We sat down and had to wait a little long then I stood and asked if there was anyone serving for us. The very... More

First time I've ever tried vegetarian food in my life. This restaurant exceeds and excel my expectations of Vietnamese vegetarian food. Service, in this place is one of the best i've ever had in Vietnam. Their menu is translated to English. There are some meat names from what I've learned is there is NO meat. Its tofu/ certain flours just... More
