Great restaurant, nice people and excellent food. If we were in Dalat longer we would definately eat there again. When we were ready to leave they called a cab for us & it arrived before we were out the door :)

We visited V Cafe while on a 7 day Vespa tour with Vietnam Vespa Adventures. Our tour leader, Josh Baker, tole us about his friend, Curtis & the cafe & we went there as a group of 12 for our evening meal. As soon as we walked through the door we could sense the "cruisy cool atmosphere" of the place... More

Thanks to TA, we took a taxi to V cafe and were warmly greeted and seated. We ordered a couple of beers which arrived promptly, and our order was taken. After spring rolls to share, ( and there were plenty of them) my wife wanted a piece of mackerel, and I went for the Thai green curry. Only trouble was,... More

First day we came for lunch, we ordered different dishes and we were not disappointed. Both dishes were very good tasting and full of flavour. Especially the carrot cake and cream bulee for dessert were all delicious. All for a good price too. The owner then came out and had a nice chat with us about Dalat. This made us... More

THis is a nice place, the food is more international than vietnamese and the live music remembered me the time we travelled as backpackers. They serve a nice glass of wine at a very nice price. We had to leave the day after so we could not go back there. As the place is rather small it is better to... More

We went at lunch so missed the live music at night. The creme caramel was fantastic. The green curry was however unfortunately disappointing and the coffee very average.

We stayed in Dalat for 3 nights. We ate at this cafe for 3 nights as we had enjoyed the 1st night so much we returned. Three nights we enjoyed the music, good food and service. We loves the tase of local eggplant parmesan and vegetable lasagna.

Even by Vietnam standards, the service here was far too slow. We sat at a table for around 15 minutes before a waiter noticed us. The food was average. Not poor but nothing to rave about either.

Yes, sometimes we're busy and the service staff get very busy. But, hey, it's Dalat! There's no hurry, no rush, no deadlines.... Enjoy a drink, enjoy the live music. If you're really in a rush, ask the staff how long your food will take. More
