We were only in DaLat for two days, but it think we went to V Cafe about 5 times. Conveniently located across from our tourist office, we came before and after our trips.

We spent a lovely evening at the V cafe, enjoying the live music and the delicious food, which was excellent value for money. The portions were so large I didn't have room for a dessert-and that's unheard of! The staff were friendly and helpful, calling a taxi for us when we left and explaining to the driver where we wanted... More

The 'Big Taco' was not as described, good flavours and good quality but I was still hungry after the skinny little wrap that landed on my plate. Not good value for money. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere with some good photography and music to suit the surrounds.

If you can, try it. I will bet that you cant get a better meal in town for any money, anywhere. And thats the whole oif it. Quick friendly service at a very good price. You cant go wrong here. And to make it even better, there is a live band which plays for a couple of hours at around... More

Although the place is clean and well decorated and the staff were lovely, the food was awful! I had the cannelloni (the daily special) which had no flavour and the consistency of gloop. My boyfriend had a pizza (safe choice you might think...) but it came topped with hair and one slice was filled with a piece of sharp plastic.... More

If you are in Dalat don't miss that place. Lasagna and chocolate brownie are the best in Vietnam. Couple can eat there for 300k vnd including beverages. If you like live music there is a brilliant guitar player! Worth a visit for sure!

I think the main problem of V-Cafe that it is defined as an allround-entertainment place: Food, music and cafe, Thats the reason why all the components are below the local average. No good coffee, bad food and an overcrowded Live-music resto for a very high price. Last but not least, I must admit, that this place is somehow famous in... More

After a couple of weeks of Vietnamese street food we decided to take an easy option for our second and last night in Dalat. Let's face it, there aren't many great food options in town. Why?? But V Cafe did the job. Expensive for Vietnam but still very cheap really: less than £5 each for main course, cheeky chips and... More
