Nice everything except the food. Enchilada was not an enchilada. The dough around it was raw. Beefsteak was too salty to eat. Portions small. Lonely planet strikes again.

Personally: Food was excellent, they had special breakfast (called the "Dali") that I get hungry thinking about right now. Personally I feel this particular Art Cafe was started with good intention. I have checked out all 3 art cafe restaurants... the first one (a few years back), this one "Art Cafe" and the News and New Art Cafe. Before you... More

I enjoyed the overall look of this place and I enjoyed my beef stuffed with cheese with mashed potatos and veggies. Prices are good. It is worth it to stop and have dinner here.

This restaurant looked really too posh for us backpackers and abit expensive, but when you got in there the service was excellent and the food was good viettnamese food. The best thing about this good atmospheric place was the value because the excellent service and food you would assume more. We paid 131,000 dong for a beer, a large water... More

Down the windy street at back of hill in central dalat. Find it! Just near Dalat Easy Rider office. Great food with some clever twists and quirky options many of which have been developed with a definite artist eye plus the owner painting an incredible artwork at your table was a unique experience.

Traveling around Asia one learns not to expect too much from Western cuisine. Art cafe, definitely impressed. the service was better than the food - allowing for custom order, answering questions. the menu is much broader than the higher rated "new art" place which is 3 doors down. based on our experience, this is a clear winner

This is not the real Art Cafe. Or it was, until it was scammed for the owner, who now has News & Art Cafe two doors away. We were fooled too at first, and had lunch here. Everything was below average and lacked taste. Go to the real place, their food is awesome. I think some people here are confusing... More

Great food, different from all the usual traveller stuff and all French cuisine around (this is supposed to be Asia, after all) and great value. Lovely staff, too.

Stumbled on this cafe after I read about it on TripAdvisor. it was evening so thought I would have dinner here. after being in Asia for awhile, I felt like some kind of Western food. I ordered chicken bits, mashed potato and vegetables. it was ok but nothing to rave about. obvious it was not cooked by a Westerner. I... More

Had lunch here and the food was very good and reasonably priced. We had beef stuffed with cheese and chicken with cashew nuts. Both was very good. A nice ambiance and a nice presentation of the food. It is worth a visit.
