We visited Nai Yang Seafood after being next door two nights earlier and it was full of Thai people - always a good sign. Mistake. The restaurant seems to be staffed by sullen teenagers who want to be elsewhere, anywhere rather than here. Language is not really a problem when you eventually get served, we ordered two drinks, one arrived... More

Waiters couldn't understand simple English i.e. what was on their own menu. Mains cans before some starters. At one pint staff brought 4 plates if rice before the mains were even cooked. Friend ordered Sushimi salad and was given a plate of crab sticks and told this was Sushimi. This was repeated 3 times by different waiters. Other waiter was... More

To start with you are siting on a quiet and very clean beach with no salesmen hassling you. You are served by people who speak little to no english but understand basic instructions. The service is quick and friendly and the food is really well priced The fried rice plates are big portions. Overall the atmosphere was great for couples... More

For fresh BBQ seafood, the Ban Ra Tree offers a seafood platter for 2 comprising all the fresh BBQ seafood you can eat. I requested the BBQ fish to be changed to steamed fish thai style and they had no problem to accommodate. 2500 Baht for 2 may seem a little steep at first but try it and you will... More

Visited four times during our recent sojourn into Phuket and here are a few thoughts. LOCATION: Superb! To sit out on the beach with one’s bare feet playing with the cool evening sand and viewing the colours of a Thai sunset – hard to beat. ITINERARY: Take your time, enjoy the experience – there’s no rush back to the hotel.... More

Had an enjoyable and very tasty Thai lunch here. A larb, mixed vegetables, rice, and a great steamed whole fish in sour sauce with a couple of beers for 700B. We did order the steamed squid but were very happy with the whole fish that arrived in its place. The staff were fine in their English, the ordering mistake was... More

Visited as a group of six adults. Awful service, food was average, I'd go to one of the other lovely restaurants in Nai Yang instead. Probably the worst meal of our trip.
