I have eaten here before. Singaporeans loved the crowded noisy atmosphere. the food is good and you get to chose your fish. But the night we went a karaoke couple were singing like strangled chickens. Major fail. I don't think I would go again.

Lotus is a gem hidden on the beach. Right on the water, fabulous view with great food, service & cheap food & drink. This should be a regular during your stay.

If anyone knows I would like to know, as I'm sure everyone else who had the pleasure to dine at Lotus. The character of the region has been lost now that their is no longer retail on the beaches. I wonder if the resorts will maintain their patronage, as Lotus was a big draw card for myself. I do not... More

After hearing so many people raving about The Lotus ,I was very disappointed, food arrived in dribs and drabs, some cold, service appalling, drinks didn't ever arrive, lighting atrocious then we were overcharged. I believe it too was being knocked down though.

Due to a decision after the coup last May this restaurant and many more on Thai beaches have been destroyed. This was illegal construction on a state property.

I loved this restaurant - they will pick you up from your hotel and the surroundings were modern and good - lots of fresh ( literally you pick it from the tank ) sea food but with a sufficiently wide menu that even my fussy daughter found something to eat. The cost was reasonable and excellent for the quality of... More
