Reasonably good all round

the pig and whistle is in Thailand, not England as you well know,so,1st English beer is not widely available in Thailand most of the time, and if it was it would be so expensive no one would buy it,£5 for a pint of Guinness is not for everyone. English staff! without a work permit no English staff are allowed, its not Spain,you... More

We originally planned to go to L'Arc french restaurant but as the menu looked expensive and it was quite empty - probably due to our early evening start at about 7.30 we just went for the pig and whistle. Its a modern bar with an English menu. For a change I had bangers and mash and my wife pork chop... More

Decided to have dinner at this newish restaurant. The decor and service was very good and I felt that the menu was not over priced. I had the steak & kidney pie, my friends had steak and steak stew, respectively. All three dishes, although tastey and tender, were very dry and seemed to need more gravey. the drinks we had... 3.5 dots. Great Fish and Chips and a nice Cottage Pie. Nice looking Pub with Friendly staff. Thai food average but you should realy come here for the Pub Grub could also do with a better Beer selection.

A group of us - 18 hungry golfers - pitched up at this British-style pub, unannounced and with no warning. Once I got inside, I half assumed we would be turfed out as too rowdy and demanding for their liking. Instead, they opened up an unused section of the restaurant (thus confining our motley crew to a somewhat isolated area).... More

This used to be the best English pub food in Pattaya for my money but it is no longer of the same quality. It was as busy as ever bearing in mind it was New Years Eve. It's a bit dingy inside. The lighting could be better. The menu is still fairly extensive but the food wasn't a patch on... More
