i have to agree with previous review, this place has gone downhill fast! poor breakfast, the staff with great engish skills gone, and the famous sunday lunch? in years gone by, you were lucky to get a seat, nowadays its empty! had roast beef, it came, as dry as a bone, I asked for more gravy, the guy behind warned... After years at the top of the English breakfast hill it seems the Pig has lost its crown. A half closed restaurant in High Season must be saying something and whilst not poor, the breakfast special which has satisfied thousands over the years was sadly lacking in inspiration. The make or break sausages were lacklustre and the bacon hard, though... More

Was told that the fish and chips here were very good so on Friday I decided to give it a try. The Pig and Whistle has the décor of a traditional English pub and does make you forget that you are in a Soi in Pattaya Thailand. When your there except for the extensive Thai menu choices that there are... More

Pros Beer options, and it's cold Prices are only ok Clean ish Ok service Good television... playing BBC Nice decor Cons The Thai food is terrible. If I were in the U.K., that'd be ok. Internet is unusable In a nutshell, the guy at the table next to me described the situation perfectly - the price on the menu looks... More

Love the menu options. Roast is good bar the Yorkshire pud but I guess you cannot have everything. All food has been good, fish, thai dishes and apple pie. I love the fact you can read a paper from home. Again a lot of the places are full of bar girls this is not and I like that. I've eaten... More

This English pub was recommended to me by a friend, and is located on Soi 7 between second street and beach road. It's next door to an Irish pub, Rosie O'Grady's. At the front near the entrance, low lighting in an intimate, cosy atmosphere (apart from the TV screens broadcasting sport) -. and more tables with better light at the... More

The location is a decent size and clean interior although it seems a little date and could use some refreshing. From Beach Road or Second Road you cannot see any signs and will have to walk down the road. The location is closer to 2nd. The menu has several pies, burgers, fish and chips. There is an all day breakfast... More
