Multi talented and excessive menu

It's about atmosphere and a no no concession about quality to an extensive choice of food, sure Thai, but the western list is a mix of international, some Dutch, like Grandmothers Peasoup, but also fresh raw herring. We arrived in Matahari and greated with usual warm welcome and sitted in the bar for a drink before proceeding to the main dining room. The restaurant design is French style, mainly white decor. Classic and well presented, MataHari is a safe bet for a good meal in Jomtien. The menu is European with some Thai and Malaysian dishes. Their... More

We arrived here fairly late one evening, dressed up due to it being a 'nice' place. Food was ok, but who appeared to be the manager made my boyfriend feel like he was looking down on him/us. And made him feel so uncomfortable he wanted to leave. We stayed, but it wasn't anything special and after what wasn't a warm... More

We always enjoy returning to Mata Hari, good service and great food, My favorite dish is the oysters kilpatrick and the lobster and prawn cocktail. They have a nice selection of wines and spirits and a decent bar area. I was very pleased that now they have kicked the smokers to outside.

Still got it after all these years! Probably the best-trained entire staff in any restaurant in Pattaya - and mostly familiar faces which means it's a loyal team. They work so well together in seamless fashion. The food as good as it always was - never missed a beat in many many visits. Good to see quality wines but still... More

The dinner served was quite ordinary and tasted and looked like it had been made some time ago and was warmed up. The meal was all right, but we had expected somewhat more sophisticated at this restaurant. An average minus this time.

The food is OKish but when the manager/owner visited our table he asked how was the meal, to which I replied "a bit bland and tasteless as the starter and the main course, cod, were perceptibly frozen". He got quite annoyed replying that you cant get fresh cod in Thailand. I replied that I obviously knew this but that he... More

The Thai classmate drove us to Pattaya from Bangkok and highly recommended the place and invited us to dinner here before he drove back home late in the evening after dropping us back to our hotel.
