I've visited this restaurant many times the past 5 month, however this time my experience was shocking. What I ordered cesar salad which looked entirely poor, small portion and missing the key element (parmesan cheese)when the manager came to my table asking my concern, I told him the salad looks different in Europe and the Middle East. His response was just... More

In a return to Samui after being away for some months, this restaurant with its food and staff was an absolute wow. It's such an unusually welcoming place, and the food is divine -- the portions perfect...the seasonings...I recommend the fish "laub"/ salad with daice fish...Superbly made. What a treat. I spent every night at this place and went from... More

Not sure why this restaurant has such good reviews. I have had much better Thai food at the same price from a local eatery. Word of caution if a restaurant tries to serve everything then expect it to be very basic. Our drinks were so weak that it was drinking fruit punch. When asked how are things I told the... More

Locals and tourists will be found eating in this value for money Resturant. We found the cooking fresh and not over oily like some of the lower priced places The rice and noodle dishes were excellent, we will be going back again before the end of our holiday

We have used The Garland as our preferred take-away during two stays in Koh Samui and also had two sit-down meals there. The food is consistently good, with a very wide choice, and cheerful and friendly service. It's worth going there just it see the activity in the kitchen.

Expected more, Green papaya salad was a highlight definitely worth ordering again. Cheese burger for my daughter also great. I ordered bolognese for my toddler and whilst it looked nothing like real bolognese (ie there were no tomatoes), my toddler loved the flavour. However we ordered red vurry which when served to us was yellow and contained ingredients from a... More

On the few occasions we left the Imperial Boat House we would go to different restaurants but found ourselves eating here on several occasions. The fish was fresh and delicious and I loved the deep fried garlic and pepper spare ribs. The staff were very welcoming and it was a very popular restaurant, well worth a visit

Went to Garland every evening during our 10-day vacation. Friendly English-speaking staff, fast service, tasty and quite cheap food, both Thai and European (I personally adore their Coconut Red Curry, it's unbelievably delicious), comfortable to sit for a long time - it all makes Garland a really amazing place where you want to return again and again.
