We came here as we were staying close by. On arrival the waitress told us it was 2 for 1 drinks on happy hour. We arrived just before sunset, found a great table to watch the sun go down. Ordered some yummy cocktails. Ordered chicken...with cashew nuts and chicken panang. Delicious.More

My husband and I stayed at The Passage so ate at The Terrace several times All of the food we had was lovely although higher priced than outside the resort which you would expect.

To be fair, all men wait staff are extremely friendly, helpful and understanding. All but one of the women make you feel miserable eating at this restaurant. We deliberately avoided interactions with all women staff except Ms Beauty. She was the only one worthy of...working at a resort. Sad that she only returned from break after we were 7 nights into our stay. Food is good, but very less dishes to choose. All Thai food is average and felt like heavily modified for international (western) guests with fragile taste. The lady at the egg station is a true crypt keeper. SMILE for f**k sake. All of you, smile at your guests, it’s free and costs you nothing. We stopped having lunch here because a) great meal option was just a few meters away on the beach at the shack, and b) the staff (except when miss Beauty was around) made us feel miserable and literally unwanted! Seriously, I think they’d be happier if we weren’t eating at their restaurant. c) Breakfast service was the worst we’ve ever experienced. This is where all staff walked around like zombies and we dreaded coming up to eat an included breakfast buffet. I would recommend this restaurant only for dinner service because I think there is a happier staff on board then and views are beautiful for a drink by the beach.More

We dropped in for happy hour ( 2 for the price of 1) and stayed for dinner. Like many resorts at this time of the year, it was not busy but the staff were very friendly and accommodating. My partner had mojitos and I had...beers, both excellent. Then onto the restaurant after seeing the spectacular sunset. A very pleasant experience all round!More

We stayed 8 nights at The Passage Samui and ate many meals at this beach front restaurant. We found that the standard of food served is consistently good tasting and always well presented, much better than the nearby local restaurants but of course, more pricey....If any particular ingredient is out of stock or not fresh, we would be advised to order something else. We were told that if anything was not to standard or served wrong, it would be replaced but that never materialised! What’s exceptional is the waiting staff, alway friendly and there to please.More

We stayed almost 5 days at this resort with teenagers. Our first night we were very much looking forward to dining at this restaurant and we were expecting somewhat higher prices due to this being part of the resort. The serving staff and the apparently...newly appointed F&B manager did a aweful job in keeping us happy, by serving the dishes late, not to the right taste, one dish with clearly expired feta cheese and by serving a wrong dish after we were all done (except one obviously). F&B manager clearly had no clue and I had to negotiate (!) a price reduction on the total tab. Needless to say, we explored all other dining options in the subsequent evenings and were not disappointed. It could well have been the fact that the cooks were not really used to Western foods (they all tasted poorly), the Thai dish that we also had was good, but overpriced. Breakfast is complimentary in this resort but it did not disappoint. The fact though is that for a 5 star claiming facility one would expect much better. Better service, better selection, better maintenance and appearance and pro-active staff.More

The terrace is a beach front restaurant at The Passage Samui Villas Resort . It serves the hotel guests and anyone that is willing to visit . The menu here suits everyone and there is a wide range of Thai and Western food available with...fresh "catch of the day" chalk board menu available . The stunning turquoise waters and beach make this restaurant and its serene beauty a must do in any trip to the island of Koh Samui . The hotel has a car park and is totally accessible for all , wheelchair bound guests can use ramps and walkways with ease and it's totally flat - "TOTALLY " but at the beach you would need to climb 2 steps to access the dining room or perhaps just eat on tables with just 1 step by the bar . The staff here headed by the wonderful and newly acquired FB manager "Just" pronounced juice in English give you professionally relaxed service , the resort in itself is beyond quiet and everyone works at the same pace therefore you will enjoy the surrounds and quietness together with your chosen menu option . There's good wines and beer options and a very good sundowner or cocktail / smoothy etc all available . Happy hours twice daily . Actually !! just ask as everything is possible . At the north west end of the ring Rd with a sign for the Passage will bring you here , if you'd like to view the sunset there's a few great places on Samui and this is one of them . Enjoy ... !!More
