Description: Nuch’s Green Ta’lay Restaurant is located in the south of the island, the peaceful side of Koh Samui. We specialize in central Thai cooking. Dine with pool and garden views and one of a kind relief art work on the walls by a local artisan. Prawns and fish dishes very popular. Nuch’s signature dish is green curry to which our guests say is the best in Thailand. We also have menus printed in Russian. Open 10-3pm closed Mondays

This beautiful restaurant does not disappoint. We were greeted warmly on arrival and service was very friendly and prompt the whole evening. The raw prawns in Thai dressing was the best dish I've had in Thailand so far! Definitely a dish to come back for. The curries were fragrant and full of flavour. The prices were very reasonable for such... More

After reading soo much about the restaurant, traveling so far to get to it, I was completely disappointed. I am sure some of the street shops in Chaweng market have better food. Sorry about this review but that's the truth.

During our stay at the Conrad we asked if there were any close decent restaurants where we could experience home cooked Thai food. This was recommended to us so we booked in and looked forward to the experience. On arrival we were about to be greeted by a waitress/server/supervisor but they she started having a conversation with our driver for... More

We went to the Green Ta'lay, while staying at the Conrad, for an evening meal and had a wonderful time. Fabulous food and friendly service. They will spice the currys to your taste, removing any concern that the meal would be too hot/ not spicy enough. One curry we chose was mild but that didn't mean bland - we even... More

We visited this restaurant twice during our recent stay in Koh Samui. On both occasions we really enjoyed the food, and the atmosphere. The menu is varied, and the food extremely good quality,a very friendly establishment, reasonably priced. By far the best restaurant we visited during our stay.

We found this restaurant via a sarch here, and wanted to leave the Conrad for local dinner. They were very friendly and worked with the hotel to get us there quickly. The owner surprised us at being from Maine (we are from NY). But the chef is Thai and the food was wonderful! Great recommendations from the owner--raw prawns (very... More

This was definitely one of the best Thai meals we've ever had. We were worried when we got there and everyone else there was foreigner. The food turned out to be not only authentic, but also prepared in such a delicate and sophisticated manner they were certainly one step above othe local restaurants that we like. Our favorite were the... More

This is a must do restaurant if you are on this side of Koh Samui. The owner is very friendly and great to chat with. He had some great recommendations and the signature fried fish with tamarind was a hit. They kindly adjusted the spiciness to suit. Go here if you can.

Who would believe that a guy from Main would find love in Bangkok and she could cook too? That's indeed what happened to David. He then moved his bride and himself to KS and reopened her restaurant there. The food is on par with any of the best Thai food that you have eaten any where in the world. The... More
