My childhood memories

Years ago when I was a little kid, there were not that many bakeries in Chiaing Mai. I used to love this place so much and it was one of my very favorites. Visiting this place always bring me a smile :) Of course, cakes were great!

Charming delicious spot off the beaten path in Chiang Mai. Great for tea time or coffee break. Delicious pies - especially the coconut cream with fresh coconut flakes. Yum!

No less than 40 differnt kinds of pasteries. Found this lovely bakery on our last day in Chiang Mai, by accident. It was close to our Hotel Rimping Village and we were looking for a midday snack. If we would have been in Chiang Mai longer, we definately would have come back to try some more of these wonderful cakes.... More

Went there for a quick lunch and was perfect. The menu is really small (mostly sandwiches and cakes) but everything was well made and the staff are friendly and helpfull. The price are a a bed high (140 for a BLT, about 100 for a piece of cacke, 80 for a shake), but in the overall we were happy and... More

Great place for cakes and coffees. Love the beautiful garden and friendly boss - Matty. Best to visit after tour of Wiang Kum kam ( Old Ancient Underground City ), on way back to town. Tuk Tuk may not know the way, so best to print out the location map. Must try the Lime Pie and Volcano Mud Pie

The bakery is tucked away in a lovely little garden. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. The food was worth the visit.

A cafe in a quaint little garden which is part of the owner's property. Friends told me she had learnt how to bake at Le Cordon Bleu! We counted more than 40 cakes and pies on the menu. The coffee was very good too. It was by sure coincidence that we saw pictures of the owner of Eastin Hotel with... More

Visited a couple of weeks ago. The cafe is in a quiet soi with lovely gardens and sitting outside is a pleasure. Seated promptly and orders taken. The drinks (fruit shakes) were lovely especially the coconut but the food was average. Kids had lasagne and fish and chips. Neither particularly enjoyed them. People at the next table were sharing desserts... More

LAFB has a lovely garden and is an oasis of tranquility. We had lunch not pastry and it was very good though not cheap by CM standards at 150bht for a main. Well worth it. And their home made ice cream is, er, homemade. The machine is right by the flavour tubs and they let me try quite a few... More

We first found this bakery about 6 years ago and have visited it every time we come to Chiang Mai. I can personally recommend the Banana Cream Pie. If searching for the address on Google there is a spelling mistake so search for "Love at Fist Bite". The restaurant is closed on Mondays.
