Better than I expected

Restaurant was close to my hotel and felt like a change from Thai food, so gave it a try for lunch. I had the chicken enchiladas, which were very good and filling. Wow who would have thought you'd find a little slice of Mexico here in Chiang Mai. Overall setting is nice, staff welcoming and they even play Latin style music. Chips and guacamole were great, fresh chips, good flavor and the included salsas were a nice combo of spicy and smokey roasted flavor. Shared a combo platter which was perfect for... More

Come here for the first time to give it a try and was very positively surprised. First it is not Tex-Mex fast food, not Californian Mexican food. It is home made food from Mexico. Excelent combination of flavours. The pineapple sauce on my roast pork was delicious. The Tacos very taste and the different sauces very good.

I urge you to avoid this place. I have never written a review before but I felt it was absolutely necessary to warn anyone who might be considering eating here. I ordered the beef fajita platter which was served on a hot skillet of sizzling onions and bell peppers, the meat was not sizzling because each piece of beef was... More

I found the food to be good, large portions, but not to authentic Mexican, having lived in Mexico for 3 1/2 years. The service was ok, but the wait staff needs to pay more attention to the customers. It would be a good idea if they checked on the table regularly, but that does not seem to be common with... More

I'm celiac and have been sick ALL over Southeast Asia, especially Thailand where there's gluten hidden in just about everything (found this out the hard way - MSG, fish sauce, almost all soups have gluten here). We got a place right next to this restaurant so I could have at least one place to eat, but I was still nervous... More

Pros: - Large portions - Tasty food (chicken enchiladas, nachos and pork burrito) - Fresh ingredients - Salsa was perfectly spicy Neutrals: - Fares were reasonable for this kind of eatery at around 190-200 baht per "normal" dish (all of the aforementioned) - Service was fine--not bad, not great - Super busy (and loud), but we waited only about five... We ate at this restaurant as we had eaten Thai food for last two weeks and felt like something different. We only had the chicken nachos but they were tasty although could have done with more spice. This seemed to be a popular place and we were actually turned away as no spare tables until we approached a woman on... More

I came here with friends, all craving Mexican food, and we weren't disappointed! The tortilla chips were very fresh, as was the salsa. Margaritas were really good and at a good price for a pitcher. I had the shrimp tostadas and they were awesome. My friends had burritos, enchiladas, and quesadillas and were all very satisfied. I would definitely eat... More

Eating here was a mistake. We came hoping for fresh and delicious mexican food but were sadly disappointed. The chicken salad which according to the menu came with "lots of fresh veggies" turned out to be a pile of mostly fruit in too sweet sauce, bread and chicken. It wasn't good and made my stomach uneasy. My boyfriend also got... More
