Solid Mexican food

If you're looking for Mexican food in Chiang Mai, this is a good spot to go. I've been a handful of times now, and it's always pretty good. I highly recommend the guacamole. Aroy mak! The daiquiris are decently priced and quite tasty. I've gotten both the chicken and shrimp tacos which are both... read more

You would not expect good Mexican food in Chiang Mai, and you will not find it here. Nothing really bad about it, just not very good, and pricey in a town where food is generally cheap. For Mexican food in Chiang Mai, try Loco Elvis.

We stumbled upon Salsa Kitchen looking for another restaurant, and I am so glad we found this place!! The food was delicious and the wifi fast. This place really reminded me of home and has been one of my favorite meals on my month-long journey through SE Asia. I ordered the bean burritos and could eat them every day! Highly... More

Well, Salsa Kitchen may be the best in Chiang Mai (at least among expat circles), but I walked away underwhelmed. What to say? Slightly overpriced, for starters. Sluggish, unfriendly wait staff. Watery Margueritas. Long wait times for food. Skimpy portions of chips and salsa. REALLY uncomfortable seats with too-low tables (some tables/chairs are fine). Zero atmosphere. That being said, my... Went after reading all the great reviews and we were not disappointed! Shared a dipping starter and then a beef and a chicken main. So tasty!!! Was hard to decide on what to have as there is such a wide choice on the menu and it all sounds so good. Two mains and a starter with 5 bottles of beer... More

When I have a hangover, there are few things I desire more than a burrito. Hailing from San Francisco, California - where the Mission Burrito was born - I heard Salsa Kitchen is the place to be for such a thing, especially considering they tout the "Mission Style" burrito (something I consume about five times a week back home...) So,... More

This is not your typical Mexican food, which is not necessarily a bad thing. I had the chimichangas, which came with sliced pineapple and coconut, something I've never seen before but which was very good. The portions were large, the guacamole and salsa were excellent, the staff was very friendly, and the atmosphere was great though a bit austere. Still,... More

Great quality and reasonably authentic Mexican food with quality ingredients. I had the combo platter and could hardly move afterwards. Loved it!

Salsa is close by the house, food was very pleasant, chilled atmosphere. Definitely a Thai fusion bit to the Tex-Mex fare! I recommend it! Not the same portions as the US or Mexico but still got very full.

As per friend recommended, this Maxican restaurant is one of the good and resonable price. The location is a bit not touristy so some taxi driver may not know but you can call and let the taxi ask for direstion.
