This restaurant has excellent food choices , including an excellent gluten free range. The food is not only tasty but the portion sizes are large. The staff could all take lessons on how to smile, but everything else far out weighs this. They have a separate menu in English for anyone who is gluten intolerant. Their Mexican lasagna was one of... As much as I love Sonoran Cuisine (Please don't call it "Mexican" unless you serve dishes from the entire Federación!) lactose intolerance prevents me from enjoying many of the typical plates I used to love. One night I decided to come in for a drink instead. The mojito was correctly made, although not with the Bacardi one would get in... More

Best Mexican I've had in three weeks, so much flavour, such good value for money. The service was average but who cares when the food tastes this amazing. Yum.

Such a surprise find: Mexican and Southwestern SO WELL done. Great decor. It's very popular and if you want a quiet place, don't wait till evening / later evening when it gets crowded and noisier. Such tasty food. Vegetarian or with meat. Large portions, enough to share if you wish, or take away the extras. Dinners or al a carte.... More

Tasty, fresh and large portions. Friendly service and a nice atmosphere. I love the shrimp tostadas and the sweet potato quesadillas. The ribs are a hearty meal. The frozen margaritas are great and if you have room for desert the margarita pie and homemade ice cream with berry sauce are wonderful. The air conditioning is nice in the heat.

We went to salsa kitchen as we just stayed around the corner. We ate quesadilla (speciality of the day) but it didn't taste fresh and the meet was not too good. The additional sauces tasted weird... All in all we were looking forward to eat Mexican (6 months travelling and we eat mexican from time to time) but we were... More

Pretty good food, margs aren't bad, but service isn't great and the prices are a little high for the food and for Thailand. The fajitas were a letdown. The enchiladas and pumpkin tacos are good.

I'm rating salsa kitchen as only 3 star because I find the food all tastes quite similar, is a bit too salty, and I have an upset stomach after I eat it usually, probably because it's so heavy. The food is alright though if you're craving something different. The platter is easily shared between 2 people (and leaves my boyfriend... More

While visiting Chiang Mai, I stayed in Chiang Mai Orchid and the Salsa kitchen is almost bang opposite. I was surprised to see a Mexican restaurant in a Thai town (would not have been surprised if it was Bangkok). And I like Mexican, so decided to give it a shot. The restaurant ambience is decent, but not great. They have... More
