To echo what everyone else has said for Slasa Kitchen it was some of the best Mexican food I've ever had. Generous portion sizes, the best refried black beans I've ever eaten and the fajita was perfectly balanced in flavour. Around 200 bhat a plate so not to pricey either. Heavily recommended.

My wife and I just moved to Chiang Mai a couple weeks ago from southern Washington and the mexican food here is better than anything we had in southern Washington or the Portland, Oregon area. The fresh chips are a treat and the salsas are muy bueno! It's walking distance from our condo so we sure felt like we hit... More

Searched TripAdvisor for late night restaurants, as my flight landed in the late evening. According to the website, they're open until 11. It was a little after 10, so I phoned them to ask when the kitchen would close that night. They told me 10:30. So I jumped in a tuk-tuk and got there a few minutes later only to... More

Wow! What a nice surprise! If you’re watching Trip Advisor ratings and rankings, forget about Miguel’s — a higher-ranking joint — and run to this place. You can see my review about the abysmal quality of Miguel’s separately. Let’s start with what is right, in order. First, a pitcher of Margarita’s for 379 baht. The price is about the same... More

Great value for money and very tasty Mexican food The place is not well ventilated so you'll probably need a shower after you had your meal

This restaurant has excellent food choices , including an excellent gluten free range. The food is not only tasty but the portion sizes are large. The staff could all take lessons on how to smile, but everything else far out weighs this. They have a separate menu in English for anyone who is gluten intolerant. Their Mexican lasagna was one of... As much as I love Sonoran Cuisine (Please don't call it "Mexican" unless you serve dishes from the entire Federación!) lactose intolerance prevents me from enjoying many of the typical plates I used to love. One night I decided to come in for a drink instead. The mojito was correctly made, although not with the Bacardi one would get in... More

Such a surprise find: Mexican and Southwestern SO WELL done. Great decor. It's very popular and if you want a quiet place, don't wait till evening / later evening when it gets crowded and noisier. Such tasty food. Vegetarian or with meat. Large portions, enough to share if you wish, or take away the extras. Dinners or al a carte.... More
