This American style restaurant does everything BIG... and I mean BIG portions! It's OK, but I can't say it's a firm favourite of mine, simply because what it makes up for in size, it looses in finesse. Don't get me wrong, there's absolutely nothing 'wrong' with the food per se. Likewise, the restaurant, the service, the price - it's all... More

We ate here at the recommendation of a guest at our hotel. Staff spoke great English and were very attentive. We had loaded nachos and a pizza. My only complaint was that the salsa was very hot for me and it was on top of the nachos, not on the side. The pizza is very thin crust so my husband... More

The Dukes sated our craving for a bit of western food. We had a burger and nachos. The portions are very big. The nachos were only an appetiser and I was stuffed. Prices are quite high, as is normal for Western food. It was one of our most expensive meals in Chiang Mai. However, if you want good American food,... More

We felt like pizza and had heard this was the place to go, the largest size is enough for 4 people . Thin crust and lots of toppings. We decided to skip first course so we would have place for the deserts we had heard were so good. So even though we were quite full we chose to order one... More

We went to The Duke's for dinner with more than a dozen people, mostly American. There is a wide range of typical American/Italian food, served in large portions for attractive prices. It is located on a main thoroughfare where the nightly market is set up. The service was fine and the food good. Best of all it was right across... More

Wow, terrific food when you are ready for a western meal! While we enjoy trying the local favors, it's hard not to keep returning. The ribs, burgers ,sea food and fries are better than we find at most restaurants in US. Good prices, large portions, English speaking, Great ambience, heaven for us. The pizza is also terrific!

I was not very hungry so I only ordered their largest chopped salad. The plate was enormous and would have been enough for two persons. My friend had the fish and chips ,also very good.Good value and good quality of ingredients, friendly staff ,nothing to complain about but make sure you are really hungry when you go there

The last time we visited The Duke's was in October 2013 and we had the same meal this trip, Dec 2014, Pizza & Ribs. Both were outstanding and highly recommend them.

I'm an American expat living in Chiang Mai. I make really good Italian food but I don't have an oven at home so I go to Duke's "on the river" (Chiangmai-Lamphun Road) exclusively for their pizza! Though the prices have risen ever so slightly, the pizza is still good. I LOVE super thin crust Roman pizza! This is not that!... More

Was only in Chaing Mai for a week, but I ate here 4 times! If you're jonzing for Western food, this will do it. Hand made brick oven pizza that is amazing! Their ribs are really good too...enjoy! And, the original location is right in the night market. Easy to get to, all the cabs will know the night market... More
