I had my first meal in Chiangmai here. I ordered Pad Thai and it was bland, dry and tasteless. The service was pleasant. Beside the point but a born again Christian came and joined me??!!

Food quality was disappointing. Small portion and slow in service even though it was not very busy when we were there.

The best things about this place are that it is not crowded, clean restaurant, good food, cheap without losing the quality of food, good service and have fan room that closed for non smoker. It is on the highway and near Thapae gate.

Had northern thai pork curry and kao soi, both delicious. Would recommend sharing a northern thai h'ors d'oeuvres too, very interesting. Portion sizes were sensible, so space for dessert, hooray! (Or one of the exciting-sounding salads) You absolutely have to try the pumpkin custard for dessert -like a coconutty egg custard with pumpkin in it. Lovely! Good service, with an... More

The muslim (massamun) curry, both chicken and vegetarian versions, were the best I have eaten in this price range. Chicken with ginger, and chicken with cashew nuts, were also tasty meals. My partner and I ate there 3 times in 8 days. So many good things to choose from on the menu. Friendly staff. Colourful restaurant with photos of the... More

This restaurant is located across the moat. I went on a sat and it was not crowded. The food is tasty and the price is cheap. We ordered a crab meat fried rice, pad thai, tom yum soup and a fried mix veg. It cost about baht 250. The restaurant has a nice décor and ambience and the best part... More

The ambience there was great. They have aircon inside which is great as many restaurants in a similar price bracket do not. We had the mixed platter of northern thai starters, which, for 80 baht was great value. I highly recommend it if you want to sample Northern thai food. There is also a northen section for mains which, although... More

This place has a fantastically intimate atmosphere, is decorated very tastefully and has lovely staff/owners. It doesn't seem to be plagued by throngs of tourists even though it is across the moat from a very busy area. The food is far superior (especially Thai food) to the nearby tourist haunts and it's at least as cheap, all in all making... More
