We spent only one night in Chiang Mai and fortunately came across this place, by chance. Small with friendly atmosphere with very attentive and polite staff. The food was divine. Full of flavour and the portions were the right size (didn't look big but surprisingly filing!). Creative and beautifully presented at decent prices. Even the juices were different to want... More

sit at the bar and you will see the Chef and his understudies create works of art. Some of the most fresh/delicious/well presented food we had ever. Do not let the appearances fool you. The Chef has created an authentic Thai experience. The wall is decorated with his accomplishments and we honestly felt like he could be an Iron Chef.

What a nice surprise! We were looking for Brown Rice at their old location around 3 weeks ago, but they were closed due to moving on a new location. Now they are re-opened in a nice little cozy place on Changmoi road right behind the corner from Mike's Burgers around 300meters/yards North from Thapae Gate - very easy to find.... More

Duang cooks up his usual incredible gourmet veg cuisine in a sparkling open kitchen. New professional look, new trained staff, and new menu that includes lots of old favorites. Greatly improved service! Friendly place with a very nice vibe. Easy to find behind Mike's Burgers outside the moat!

The place is nice, I hear they are moving though closer to tourist ghetto etc. Owner/chef seems to have skills, but our dishes were off. The massamam curry was too sweet. Too sweet. It tasted like they melted caramels in the curry, and there was a lot of pineapple, a lot of pineapple, and I'm not sure if there really... More

The chef and owner is really nice and can give you some cooking classes..he has no problem in teaching you everything he knows. I... More

My husband and I both loved our meals here. Neither of us are vegetarians, but it was nice to eat some veggies while on vacation, and it certainly helps if they are this delicious! Our favorite was the Khao Soi, it was the best we had in Chaing Mai! We also had fantastic juice, and it was all reasonably priced.... More

Would highly recommend this restaurant for tasty vegetarian food. The fresh spring roll starter is really good. Also had the massaman and hinlay curries - both with great spices & a complex taste. Had the lemongrass drink which was very refreshing. Would definitely eat here again.

The service is slow, but this is only because there is one chef who makes every dish with absolute love. A little more expensive than street food, my vegetarian Tom Yum and Ginger Juice came to a total if 120 baht - that's about $5. So very tasted and a lovely secluded place - hard to believe you're in the... More
