Ginny Cafe is a small, only four tables, family run cafe in the old town of Chiang Mai, situated next to the Bodhi Serene hotel. We have eaten here a few time, for breakfasts and dinners, and all meals have been tasty and delicious. Staff are friendly and efficient, the meals very good value and the mangoe shakes are to... My wife and I walked into the cafe to try some local Thai food. We were very happy with food and price we had selected. We tried the banana pancakes once and we have been back quite a few times since just for the pancakes. They are light and fluffy with chunks of sweet bananas and they go great with... More

Tee and her staff make the best food! Must stop in here and eat if you are in the old city. We eat there every day no matter what! Thai food and western dishes if you must have a taste of home.

Ginny's Place stands out in a street full of restauramts by serving great food both Thai amd European. Ginny makes her customers really welcome and is really helpful providing information on the local areas attractions many of which she can book for you. Well worth a visit.

They do an excellent version of our favorite Thai dish. It's more expensive than a lot of places (80 baht), but the portions and quality warrant the cost. The cuts of chicken are very nice, and they use plenty of coconut milk. Really top notch.

They have the best Khao Soi ever here! A must try, went back for as many bowls as I could during my stay! My girlfriend also really enjoyed her pad thai!

I was told of this cafe by the bank across the street, I told her I wanted a good Khao Soi. I came to the right place! I ordered it along with a small Chang beer, Ginny said they only had large at the moment but that she would help me finish it! The bowl of Khao Soi Gai was... More

Stayed at Bodhi Serene recently next door to this wonderful little place that we discovered on a previous trip. The owner is so friendly and welcoming especially during Sogkran. The food is lovely and cheap. The Khao Soi is wonderful. Make a trip to Ginny you will not be disappointed.

I stayed at the attached guest house for Songkran, and enjoyed 90% of my meals that week at Ginny Cafe. Everything is outstanding. The Khao Soi is the best I have ever had, and the Western breakfasts are great too. The owners are some of the kindest people I've met in all my travels, and can help you with booking... More
