Overrated but still good

This place has amazing reviews so naturally we checked it out right away. I personally felt there were better places in Chiang Mai but the food was still really good. The omelettes and shakes were really well done and the crepes were decent but I've definitely had better. The place is really... read more

Such a lovely little place! I had the Devil's Bowl here which came with loads of nice crunchy veggies seasoned with chillies and kafir lime leaves and served with steamed brown rice. Nice and filling. Also got some free water so didn't have to pay for a drink with my meal, spent 105 bahts (about 2 quid) on a freshly... More

First ate here Apr 2014, back here in Dec 2015 and happy to see very little has changed. It was quite busy, the staff coped well and the food did not take too long to arrive. Beautiful smiling faces and the same quirky decor leaves me with no doubt that we will eat here next visit to Chiang Mai

Yeah, I'd say we liked it! We found Angel's Secrets in Lonely Planet and found that our guesthouse was right down the alleyway so we decided to try it out for breakfast our first morning in Chiang Mai. I needed a break from omelets so I ordered the banana+ almond oatmeal, whole wheat toast and a mango+ pineapple smoothie: -The... More

I ordered the Pineapple fried rice with Chicken. I have tried this dish in several places in town and I have to say that this was the best so far. There was an abundance of flavor and a good pop of yellow curry I believe. Jo, the owner, came and visited with me a while and it was a great... More

We wandered over to the restaurant at 3:50 not knowing that it closed at 4. Jo, the owner was there and welcomed us in gleefully. She mentioned she closes at 4 so she can go home and back for the next day. Nonetheless she gave us a menu to look over. We didn't want to keep her, and asked if... More

I ate breakfast here every chance I got it after the first time. There he are closed on Monday or it would've been one more. The staff is a little absent-minded--I got onions and my omelette when I specified that there be none--and I would still go back tomorrow if I were not now in Bangkok. Be sure to get... More

Very cozy and sunny spot for breakfast/brunch/lunch. I went with a friend and I got the khao soi (traditional Thai noodle dish) and a banana nut smoothie and he got a ham and cheese sandwich (was craving something western). Absolutely fantastic. However be prepared to wait longer than usual for food--we didn't mind since we were just relaxing. Really recommend!

It is a very small restaurant with a "hippie" style. Staff is very friendly and the food is great : fresh, healthy, tasty. Once you've tried it, you want to come back! :)

This was our first meal in Chiang Mai and it set up our visit to be great. Cute place, great prices, and absolutely delicious food. Especially the oatmeal was our favorite.
