Good Tex/Mex. Reasonable prices. Wished they would use Pinto instead of Kidney beans but that is only complaint. Margaritas were very strong. Two is all I could handle. However, very tasty!

Our waitress Lek had virtually no customer service skills and seemed to be more interested in talking on her hands-free phone than us. The cocktail we ordered was ok, but our food took forever (figuratively). Once we got our food it tasted good, but we had to wait a long time (virtually an empty restaurant), to get it. There was... Been here a few times and the food is a very reasonable price. It may not be as authentic as is found in many mexican restaurants in the states but remember this is the north of Thailand and they do a very good job with the ingredients they can purchase here. I recommend the Fajitas here and be careful how... More

I was looking forward to eating Mexican in Chiang Mai. Tried Art Cafe and El Diablo and both were disappointing. Unexpectedly happened upon El Toro while out for a walk, and had the chicken tacos. I kept shaking my head thinking, "Yes! This is what I've been looking for." It actually tasted like Mexican food, unlike the other "Mexican restaurants... More

We dined on 130612. The food didn't taste anything like Mexican. We had 1 ea No 2, 4 & 10 (Docket 2025). The Nachos came as about 12 chips with topping on it, strange? Nothing like Nachos. The guacamole didn't taste right. The sour cream tasted a bit funny. Everything was nothing like Mexican. The staff seemed more interested in... More

Actually, the first time I went to have dinner at El Toro,it was on my own and I found it walking around the night bazaar and Lay Kroh road. It was only the beginning of 2004 and here I was,a Mexican eating quesadillas on the other side of the world. The food is very good, the atmosphere that the beautiful owner... More
