I git a chance to take my boyfriend to eat here as i have been here before a few times. The food was really good. The chicken skewed was really tender and the dipponv sauce was delicious. My bf got a chicken in tomato and eggplant sauce which was also very nice. The food and service was really fast as... More

Poor food, brutally slow service... there are other negatives but who cares. You will almost certainly regret having come here to eat. Good location and thus plenty of other better restaurants right around the corner.

We came with good friends. Thank God. This was the only positive about the evening. Terrible food. Burnt babaganush. Messed up our drinks order twice. The pork kebab was made with old rotten meat. The combo platter was a disaster. All in all every single dish was either inedible or barely palatable. The house wine was good and the water... More

We ate here our second night in Chiang Mai and returned for more on our final (fifth) night. Great atmosphere and very tasty food. Although Sahara may look a bit expensive, it's certainly not and the food is well worth every baht. We had mainly Thai dishes (I'm not travelling to Thailand for European or Arabic food ;-) and the... More

I was a regular here until two years ago. On a recent trip to Chiang Mai, I dropped by again hoping to have another nice meal. Boy was I disappointed. I could tell right away that something was wrong as the staff did not great us and avoided making eye contact. My wife ordered middle eastern food which arrived 30... More

In a good location, a nicely decorated restaurant (with wall painting reminiscent of Morocco and Middle Eastern) at first floor and bar/snack at terrace of roof top. An huge menu (Western, Middle Eastern and Thai food, including fish on request). Food and service are often changing (from good to medium-low quality).

I should have known this was not going to be a good experience when I saw the menu listing Thai food, burgers, smoothies, etc - and only 2 pages of Middle Eastern food. I don't go to an ostensibly 'Middle Eastern' restaurant to order a burger and fries! While the Hummus was acceptable and the pita hot, the spinach/yoghurt was... More

The restaurant has lovely seating and great views from a terrace on the roof top. The menu is huge with Thai, Arabic, Western. Decent prices, big range of smoothies, milk shakes, hot drinks, alcohol and also a few reasonably priced desserts. I had the Thai food and it was plentisome and tasty. Husband was also satisfied with his onion rings... More

In a nutshell, the setting, ambience and food is let down by the service. Firstly the food: The middle eastern food we had here was good. Excellent houmus, spinach and yoghurt dips for starter and well cooked chicken and beef kebabs. The stews were equally delicious. Unfortunately the service was awful. After spending time in thailand we are used to... More

Nice Middle Easternesqe menu with plenty of "healthy" items for the diet conscious and a few "not-so healthy" but oh-so yummy items for when you just don't care about the calories. The atmosphere and staff are quite nice and this is a great place to meet friends and have some pretty decent wine or cocktails. The house wine was only... More
