Pleasant evening

We went in for a few drinks. While my partner had beer, I tried a few cocktails which were not bad at all...maybe not the strongest, but there was definitely alcohol in them (contrary to the experience of some g&t drinkers) and they were flavourful enough. We then decided to have dinner, being too... read more

Been Ra(t)chadamneon Kitchen a few times and never been disappointed yet. Good Thai food in decent sized portions that are just a few bhat more compared to the street food. Perfect when you want a cozier sit down meal and still within budget.

Because I was with a Thai, I did dare to eat a Thai breakfast- I hope it is not last time. Please do not be afraid to try something new. Just think how many people for which this is their diet. Lovely !

This restaurant was right across the street from the U Chiang Mai were we were staying. It serves inexpensive Thai food that was very good. The service is good too. It also has a nice view of the Sunday Night Market if you just want to sit back and people watch. Although their sign says they take mastercard, they prefer... More

Obviously the server girl didn't speak English. "Have brown rice?" "Have." White rice. "Beer Lao-dark?" "Yes, dark". Lager. Tried to rectify it, better not trying--just brought me more white rice. I understand it's Thailand, but it's a very popular, busy street--you need staff that speak English. Food was bland and salty. Fortunately not that expensive. Won't be back.

Wish I'd read the negative reviews on TA before trying this place. The service is slow, the attitude of the waiter reflected in his literally tossing a couple of menus at us when we indicated we wanted to order. The food was dire. I mean dire. In fact, it's the worst I've had in all my trips to Thailand. I'm... More

The Gin Tonic was not really a Gin Tonic. The food was without any taste. It's cheap that's the only positive thing ... Go somewhere else

Rude and slow service, it took ages until the food arrived and then it was groose. Probably the worst restaurant in Chiang Mai.

After a busy day we decided on this place as the owner was sitting at a table & confirmed that they served the dishes we wanted - papaya salad, panang curry. There is nothing fancy about the establishment but the food was good for the prices charged. If you want a quick Thai meal with no frills, you will not... More
