The Raming tea house is a beautiful slice of old world Chiang Mai. Set in a centuries-old manor house, you could be forgiven for thinking it was just a small museum and shop from the road - but take a closer look inside and you will find that the wooden house gives way to a concealed garden courtyard and tea... Drop by to have a meal b4 we depart home. It's just next door to The Small Hotel Chiang Mai.The garden in the back is really nicely done! Food was excellent and at fair price. It's a very quiet place, and service is consider as just fine. What I can say is I love the ancient design and decoration.

Was here to eat two years back and found the food great! However, this time round, food not as flavourful. Can get similar dishes in other places which are of higher standards. Maybe the menu should be revamped as well.

A real oasis! The garden in the back is also worth a visit - really nicely done! Food was excellent and at fair price. My lady said the mango / joghurt shake was the best she ever had!!

We almost loved it :) Beautifully restored old building, tastefully decorated with a nice little shop in front with above average goods for sale. Someone loves this place enough to keep it beautifully restored, tastefully decorated and shiny clean. Gorgeous garden sitting area, tables far apart lots of trees and bushes you almost felt like you were having afternoon tea... More

I stopped in here, after looking through the shops in front the day before. decided on the muesli set. A bowl chocka full of fruit, with youhurt and the lightest sprinkling of muesli you could add and try to pass it off as a muisli dish. Its like getting spaghetti bolognaise with all sauce and a small amount of spaghetti... More

This a nice charming cafe in an old colonial style building with a shops in front and in the back you find this cafe with a nice garden. I would rate this place more for the ambience and to have a coffee break over a meal. The meals are little pricey because the portions are small.

Good environment with a lovely garden inside. Food is just ok and portion is tiny (coffee is way too sweet..) Service isn't as good as elsewhere in ChiangMai. No AC so skip this if you want a place to hide away from the heat.

A shop in the front with some gorgeous tableware. A charming indoor rustic tea house atmosphere with a beautiful garden out the back. We ordered smoothies which were fantastic! I also ordered a "Raming Tea Shake" which never came (it wasn't on the bill at the end and I was quite excited for it so I got it take-away, and... More
