Another good restaurant to have a meal and a drink when in Chiang Mai. Serves excellent Italian food. We went for dinner and found the place really great. The starters were good, good main dishes and good drink variety. Service level also very good. The owner of the the restaurant was also around and he walked us through the menu.... More

It was so delicious that we went three times in a row to taste the maximum of dishes. All was excellent from the homemade pastas and the genuine products from Italy to the very good wine (also from Italy). And Angelo (the owner) is a wonderful person. We had the chance and the privilege to taste his own Arancello (Limoncello... More

This is a very retro restaurant. Like stepping back in time. The Italian owner shows you the fresh dishes of the day on a trolley. We had a gnocchi Gorgonzola , to die for, hand made! And a mushroom fettuccine, hand made. The portions were huge and exceptionally delicious. Also had some lovely asparagus that's so good in Thailand. Very... More

Thank you for your review, I'm always glad when people appreciate my work and my fresh pasta (much better than the ordinay one but not everybody has the patience to prepare it). Come back whenever you want, hope to see you soon. Best Regards Angelo Faro More

Decided to try Italian as most of the restaurants around there did not seem appealing or we couldn't read the menu. Place has a nice ambience and the owner seems like a nice guy. The food was not great. We ordered 2 pizzas. The spinach one tasted like it came from a frozen bag. It was coated with it making... More

Dear client, I'm sorry your experience in my restaurant has not been fully stasfying. I don't use frozen spinach, I go to the market with my assistant everyday since 27 years then there is no need to use frozen ingredients. About pizza olives you could please tell me where you can find them, fresh, in Thailand and even in the... More

The travel agent had recommended to eat at this restaurant because really valid. We wanted to go for the night of new year unfortunately when I called a girl told me that everything was fully book. I went back to see who has now become a friend after a few visits in his restaurant, and he stunned me again. I tasted delicious ravioli and spinach and I was back in Italy for a second. The taste of his food was just exactly the way it was supposed to be: honest and genuine. I started the year... More

Quite simply the best Italian restaurant I've visited in the whole 15 years living here in Thailand. Staff, service, Mario the consummate professional and host - out of this world. If you visit Chiang Mai and don't eat here, frankly you will have missed out on a cherished memory

I was expecting some great food here. The owner no doubt puts a lot of love and care into the restaurant. It seems from reviews that he is there every night and takes time to talk to people, explain the ingredients, etc. This was no different when I visited. He even knowns what the younger clientele want – as soon... More

Dear Client, thank you for your review. It is critical but not distructive and I appreciate this. Then I want just to express clearly my point of view, in particular about pizza. We can start from the difficulty, in Thailand, to have a wood-oven for technical reasons I'm not going to explain here but, one thing is clear: I never... More

We went inside on a whim after passing by the building several times. So glad we did, might be the highlight of our Chiang Mai trip. Several of their ingredients were imported fresh from Italy and you could really taste the difference. The waiter was very efficient and provided great service.
