Simply Amazing!

I went with my family for a night out in this restaurant near our hotel looking for a different flavour then the usual green curry and Pad Thai! And we got all that and more. The authenticity of the food was amazing-you could have been in Rome! We got to meet the owner of the restaurant, a lovely... read more

There is clearly a passion of the proprietor, however it seemed stuck in the 1990s and service... More

Once again I visited Chiang Mai for a short trip and I could not stay away from this wonderful restaurant. My obergine pasta was really delicious and I felt very comfortable with the service. It is always refreshing to be treated so gently by smiling staff. The host was very warm and welcoming as usual so, I can surely recommend this... More

I live in Chiang Mai because of business. I travel extensively. I eat well and I also eat on the cheap. I try every food and I never cook because god invented restaurants adv tripadvisor so I use both. If you travel you like to try local cuisine but there are those times you want to revert to something reliably... More

It is a nice intermezzo from the Thai food, which is excellent, but if you want some exquisite pasta or seafood with a good Chianti, Piccolo Roma is the place to be! You will get to meet with the chef, if you are lucky he will even make you taste his great Limoncello. The Thai staff is also very professional... More

My boyfriend and I were there twice and we loved the food. Proper italian pizza and great pasta. The service is really good as well, they are very quick and super nice. If you'd like to have a break from the thai food, definitely give this place a go.

Although this place might not look so inviting from the outside, I fully recommend it if you want to enjoy pure Italian flavors on your plate. First of all there is Angelo, the now 73! year old master chef, a very charming host, who makes you feel like you are having dinner in Rome rather than Chiang Mai. A very... More
