"A hidden gem". This restaurant was recommended by our local tour guide on our way to the Thai Silk and Silver factory. It seems like this restaurant was frequented by Thai celebrities as seen by the photos hanged on the walls. The restaurant has a lovely outdoor garden with a lake. An excellent choice or stop-over for lunch before or after visiting the factories. Menu has wide variety of noodles and rice selections. Very reasonable prices.

Good food at reasonable prices in a wonderful atmosphere

Brought there by the driver as were all other customers (drivers have a free lunch) The place is nice and that is about it. Service is quick and uninterested as it is unlikely that customers will return The food is lame. Again for tourists. Overall it is ok for lunch on the way.

Nice setting, but the food of at least 3 plates were 'out-of-the-fridge-cold', cutlery was dirty, table was dirty, staff did not know any English. And the food was good but by far not the best we had in Thailand over 2 weeks.

The lunch we had was not bad but not tasty enough for such kind of restaurant. Moreover as it was almost fully booked, the service was a bit too long for Thai expectation.

A nice restaurant with delicious food. If you want to try the ChiangMai tipical nooddles, come here! And for dessert, the coconut icecream is the best.

We were introduced to this place by our driver-guide for lunch. The restaurant seems to the go-to place for Thai celebs and politicians going by the photos on the wall. We were even introduced to the owner-manager, a handsome man who was hands-on in the kitchen. We ordered about 6 dishes and rice for 4 persons. Food was tasty and... More

We called here fore our lunch with our Guide. It was extremely busy but there was plenty of tables and a beautiful garden with a small lake/big pond. There were plenty of Elephant water features. I had Chicken and cashew nuts - nice & easy, my H had a traditional Northern Thailand curry and by the looks of him, it... More

We were shown this fantastic restaurant by 2 guides when visiting Chiang Mai and now that we live here this is the best place for lunch ever. Food , service, cleanliness, I am not easily pleased and I can fault nothing!

My wife and I eat there every time we are in Chiangmai.Last year we ate there twice, even though it is out of the way it is a must. Going back there again in November. We are looking forward to see George the owner, who speaks perfect english and lived in Brooklyn New York.

Only open during the day from lunch till 4pm and a little out of town (5km east of Tha Pae Gate on the Charoen Muang Road, just next to the Pon Art Gallery), this gem of a restaurant serves delicious, authentic Thai food in a beautiful setting: overlooking a giant pool or pond with fountains and elephant statues. There's also... More
