La Terrasse in Chiang Mai is a small restaurant right in the center of town. It is located on Loi Krok Road, a one way street that run parallel to Tapae on the opposite direction. It is within walking distance from the Night Market area or Tapae Sunday Market area. The restaurant has about 10-12 tables of 2-4 persons each.... More

In French we have a believe that taste of what you eat is partially coming from the atmosphere, the people cooking and the people you share the meal with. Make a test. Get an Heineken when you are alone and sad and you will see that the same beer doesn't taste the same when you feel happy and sharing it... More

We dined here on New Years Day and called to make a reservation for 6:30pm. Our telephone line was bad, however, the owner Jean was still able to take our reservation and was expecting us when we arrived. He was very pleasant and obviously cared a lot about his restaurant and was passionate about food. He took his time to... More

Luckily for us there was a table free since everything was normally fully booked. But because some people cancelled we could take their table. Well lucky us because this food is really superb! After many Thai dishes it is always nice to have some "European" food and this is the place to be! The staff is very nice and speaks... More

La Terrasse has a good menu with reasonable prices considering not all of the food can be easily sourced locally. We ordered pasta dishes which were both delicious and freshly cooked (they accommodated our request for a different pasta type). The French house red was also delicious, and the restaurant has free Wifi. The only criticism on our visit is... More

This little French restaurant is located in downtown Chaing Mai, and has a cozy bisto style atmosphere. We were lucky that we made a reservation because they are almost always booked out. The owner is the Chef and a excellant one, his food is fantastic. They also have French wine, which was a real treat. I highly recommend this place... More

Maybe I came on a really bad night, or the standards for fine dining in this town are low, either way, this is one of the biggest disappointments of Tripadvisor restaurants I've ever been to. Food: The food has all the quality and refinement of a good cafeteria. I could have cooked it better myself and I can barely cook.... More

Have stayed few days in Chiang Mai and were looking for smth different to eat than Thai. Found this little resto playing nice jazzy music at the background which surprised us greatly. The owner is the Chef and he knows what is doing! The food and wine was delicious but also he really takes an interest in guests. He comes... More

I am a great lover of Italian food, but this time with French cuisine I was really pleased. Service is not invasive, we had a complicity in orders as they knew what We want to eat. A warm atmosphere, and very tasty food, strange because I had already eaten here and it was not an amazement, however this time it... More

House wine if very well priced and drinkable. Food can be spotty. We had some excellent and some not so great dishes. Straks and the duck were outstanding. The pates and mozzarella/tomato salad were disappointing, as were the desserts. Chef is very present and available to answer any questions.
