Busy and fun

A buyers dream easy walking distance from Shangri-la Hotel very busy with the normal scene you expect from a Far East market although personally I prefer Patpong in Bangkok

Loved it even just for a few hours wandering before you get over whelmed! I don't have kids but if I did this would be wayyyyyy to stressful because it was PACKED!!!! And great Nutella, banana Roti (crepes)! A must!!

Crazy Busy with tourists and locals alike - lots of kitschy shopping and food stalls - insufficient tables and chairs for eating though. Open late - good fun.

Lots of vendors, interesting items, fun bargaining! Easy to walk to. Found some cool purchases for my nieces, godson and myself :)

Vibrant bazaar for shopping, eating, massage and just strolling around. Quite a busy place as it is quite popular with the tourists!

Lots of stalls to shop at, food at a very reasonable price and right off of major streets with other restaurants and not far from the bridge over the river. Fun place to stroll; alone, as a couple or as a family.

Nice place to have food. You need to buy vouchers to go buy your food. Be careful vouchers or not refundable the next day. If you do not use all your tickets on the same day, ask for a refund or your money is lost.

Lots of food choices at the Kalare Night Bazaar. Take a break from shopping and have a bite. Usually some entertainment going on as well. Fun place, although not really fine dining by any definition.

Location - so, as you walk from Thae Pae gate along to the river, Chang Klang road is on your right, and should have plenty of stalls in the evening time. You walk along and you can't miss it on your left. Walk in, there is a coupon system where you buy vouchers in THB, and then go grab whatever... More
