Organic, vegetarian, gluten free! Fresh, fresh, fresh!!

We've eaten at Pun Pun's many times, and it always hits the spot when you are looking for some fresh crisp veggie filled food, after weeks of eating at Thai street vendors. The vegetables are organically grown right there! Fresh juices and salads, burritos and veggie wraps! A wide selection of... read more

It's walkable from the canal area, however, I highly recommend to use Google Maps on your iPhone to find the place on foot. It's behind the temple. I ordered a Salad Pak Khom: spinach & mixed green salad, and chose a carrot dressing for it. Tastes good! Some monks talked to me. The atmosphere is so peaceful. But if you... More

After strolling through the grounds of Wat Suan Dok you find yourself at the restaurant. Quiet, a few outside seats and lots of covered indoor seating. Grab a menu and order at the cash register when ready. I'm not a vegetarian but this food was great! Very fresh and flavorful, large menu with plenty to chose from. Tried the massaman... More

I've visited the Pun Pun next to Wat Suan Dok several times over the last month or so, and I recommended! They've got great vegan and veggies options (I recommended the kale, tofu & mushroom stir fry) and also do fresh juices and organic coffee! The location also has a great fresh natural relaxing vibe about it. Plus the prices... More

I was at Pun Pun Wat Suan Dok once several months ago and at the new location on the road to Hang Dong yesterday. I was impressed with their beautiful dishes both times. First, at Wat Saun Dok location, we arrived when the place was already packed and we were told it would take an hour to wait. I was... More

Pun Pun is a vegetarian restaurant in the templearea of Wat Suan Dok, Chiang Mai. The staff is extremly friendly and welcoming. We traveled around Thailand a lot and Pun Pun was by far the best Thaifood we had! Especially the Sum Tum, Pad thai and the veggie green curry are out of this world.

I had the morning glory and gourd red curry which was super fresh and I was drenched in sweat after eating it. I was disappointed they didn't have any more of the mushroom sausage but I was in a time crunch and didn't order anything else. Service is slow. They have little snacks like seaweed and granola bars and ginger... More

I don't mind becoming a full-time vegetarian! Pun Pun did a great job with most dishes. The location is excellent. We walked in the temple and found this amazing place under a huge tree! The only thing I wasn't too happy about is the limited number of seats. I am not sure if they take reservation.

A lot of interesting tofu dishes on this menu. Situated in a very peaceful location (inside of a Wat) with ample seating. I had a fruit shake with no sugar and it was excellent.

Pun Pun has a large menu that is slightly overwhelming to try and read. I ordered a green salad and was unimpressed with the amount of greens and the over/under cooked vegetables that were served with it. The portion size of the stirfry was also very small for the price. There are much better places to grab a bite with... More
