Something a little different from the restaurants in the old town. Pun Pun food is extremely tasty and incredibly healthy and I would recommend it to anyone who likes to consume decent, healthy, and fulfilling food.

We ordered four dishes. Each one was deliciously yummy. We loved the yellow curry with pineapple and the pomelo salad with mushrooms was excellent. We are serious foodies and I must say this was really really good! We had deep fried mushroom cakes which were not greasy and came with a delicious sauce . Also good lemon grass tea. Such... More

Went to Pun Pun inside Wat Suan Dok on Suthep road. The location has changed slightly from before and it has moved round a corner from the old spot. I had Gaeng Ped India for a change and it was excellent - seasonal vegetables in a coconut Indian style sauce with roti bread. lovely!!

Some of the salads are really good and really creative. They also have fresh drinks and it's fun to get there through the temple.

Pun Pun took a second attempt to find it, but once it was found, it was our eating place while in Chiang Mai. First of all, make you sure you enter the grounds of the Wat Suan Dok (temple) off Suthep Road, as it is actually past the Main Temple and behind the Monk's Chat Room. Pun Pun is out... More

Great place for breakfast and brunch - the shakes and mixed drinks are really delicious and the food is produced in an ethical manner/ organic/ Veggie/ local produce - Service was a bit slow but it was very very busy so I guess it's to be expected! Worth a try.

It is amazing what they can do without using any meat and presentation of the dishes was gorgeous. We had the creamy & sour avocado salad and a noodle dish, a soy chai tea, and bananas in hot coconut milk. The tea was bland, the noodles were good but not great, the avocado salad was a bit too sour, and the... More

We have tried many vegetarian restaurants in Chiang Mai (and written about them here: http://www.neverendingvoyage.com/chiang-mai-vegetarian-restaurants/) and Pun Pun is still our favourite. The setting is lovely, menu extensive, food always delicious and beautifully presented, and it's one of the cheapest veggie restaurants in town. Don't miss it.

We went twice to Pun Pun. The first time we loved it: great atmosphere in a shady courtyard behind the temple, friendly staff, and a really interesting menu of veggie food. We ordered a lot and it was truly delicious. We eagerly went back and only then noticed that the washing-up hut (the restaurant is open-air and there are two... More

While we didn't actually stay here we did eat there and it was delicious!!! the portions were huge for the price. you can tell all dishes right down to the spring rolls were of homemade authentic cuisine. would recommend to anyone looking for a cute get away from the busy streets if chiang mai.
