Best Thaifood ever!!!

Pun Pun is a vegetarian restaurant in the templearea of Wat Suan Dok, Chiang Mai. The staff is extremly friendly and welcoming. We traveled around Thailand a lot and Pun Pun was by far the best Thaifood we had! Especially the Sum Tum, Pad thai and the veggie green curry are out of this world.

I had the morning glory and gourd red curry which was super fresh and I was drenched in sweat after eating it. I was disappointed they didn't have any more of the mushroom sausage but I was in a time crunch and didn't order anything else. Service is slow. They have little snacks like seaweed and granola bars and ginger... More

I don't mind becoming a full-time vegetarian! Pun Pun did a great job with most dishes. The location is excellent. We walked in the temple and found this amazing place under a huge tree! The only thing I wasn't too happy about is the limited number of seats. I am not sure if they take reservation.

A lot of interesting tofu dishes on this menu. Situated in a very peaceful location (inside of a Wat) with ample seating. I had a fruit shake with no sugar and it was excellent.

Pun Pun has a large menu that is slightly overwhelming to try and read. I ordered a green salad and was unimpressed with the amount of greens and the over/under cooked vegetables that were served with it. The portion size of the stirfry was also very small for the price. There are much better places to grab a bite with... More

I would rate this restaurant a 3.5.I've only been to the location off of hang dong road by the airport. I love that their veggies are grown on site and that they have the little shop where you can buy organic foods, products etc. I've tried their hummus wrap, laotian herb soup, one of their salads, and larb. I had... More

I had a mango mint smoothie, black bean burrito, and fresh spring rolls last time I went to Pun Pun (new location near the Chiang Mai airport -- check their website as I don't know the road names!). The first time I went I had a curry that was tasty, but I might go to a more traditional Thai restaurant... More

Salad was very fresh and dressing was tasty. Tom yum was also good! Lots of vegetable in my green curry. But it was not spicy at all little too salty.

popped in by accident and decided to have lunch here. no other customers in restaurant and service was rather slow but still ok. i ordered three dishes whereas one was really delicious, second was ok and third one i could just not eat at all even that it looked optically nice. as the price is low the overall value is... I'm not sure I understand what all the fuss is about. I've read countless reviews about how great this place is, but when I came in today (my first time here) I sat and waited about 10 minutes and not one person came to take my order. I noticed about 3 staff members sitting idly doing nothing and the arrogant... More
