Worst Restaurant experience in a long time

Despite having a great location and setup the inept and incompetent management was able to foul up every aspect of our family dinner. It is hard to imagine how every single thing about a meal could be messed up but they did it. We ordered family style dinning- fried rice showed up 30 minutes... read more

After a long day walking we were in the middle of Anusan Market looking for a place to eat. We saw this seafood restaurant that was packed and offer fresh fish from a bunch of pools and fish tanks. We thought it was the perfect place. It look great, full of locals and with a good product. We were terribly... More

Although the restaurant was only half full it was hard to get served. We only hung on because we had a yen for the duck breast in honey. When it arrived it had been cut through with the bone, so we ended up with more bone than duck! The fried rice was ok - a bit bland. Don't think we... More

While we waited for a table we picked out the fish, lobster and prawns. Once we sat down, the waiter proceeded to bring the seafood to the kitchen - without first asking us how we wanted them cooked and without telling us the weight and price of everything we picked out ! When asked the seafood was outrageously overpriced !!... More

Very disappointing! Ordered grilled shrimps and sea bass, both over cooked, dry and tasteless.. Service very slow and unpleasant. Very expensive as well. Overall the worst dining experience in Thailand so far!

We are often in ChiangMai on business. My husband has his favourite restaurants but last night we tried Ping-Ping. Truly wonderful. We chose rock cod, half kilo of prawns, fresh snow peas and Singha beer. I need to remember that if I say one beer, two glasses I will always get two beers with the tops already off! Items handed... Great seafood at a top location and very good on the prices. It is located right at Anusarn. Have dinner before or after you go watch the ladyboy show

Not much to say really, my wife and I were seated and ordered drinks and food, the drinks came along with my wifes prawn salad and some rice..after waiting for nearly 25 minutes I asked a passing waiter about my grilled prawns..he went away and came back 5 minutes later with a rack of prawns and put them on the grill... This is a great seafood restaurant in thee Night Market. Mostly open air, but with an inside dining room. It seems to be popular with both tourists and locals. All food is Thai, no western dishes. Every time I come to Chiang Mai, it's the first place I have dinner. Everything from Oysters on the half shell to huge lobsters.... More
