New branch of Ping Ping in Kalare Centre

Tonight we had a meal at the newly opened Ping Ping 2 at Kalare Centre. This is about 5 minutes walk from the original Ping Ping. The order for 3 people was executed nearly correctly. No problem! The food was tasty and portions just right. The restaurant is open air (with roof only) but the fans... read more

We decided to eat here after a long evening of walking around the bazaars. The service started off well but declined when our waitress out of a sudden went home and no one took over the table. Even though they had lots of staff on we were pretty much ignored. Luckily we had our food before the waitress left. The... More

Ordered Mussels, BBQ Chicken, and Spring Rolls. Mussels came out in 30 seconds so they had been sitting out for who knows how long. They were also overcooked, worst mussels ive ever tasted. "BBQ" Chicken came out 30 seconds after that. I'm no chef, but cooking a chicken typically takes longer than 1 minute. Chicken was dry, I'm also 90%... More

This restaurant served spoiled clams and shrimps, fish is ok but they charged a lot. It was our first dinner in Chiang Mai, our tour guide took us there, she probably gets a fat commission for taking a group of 8 there. Place is open and looks unclean, well, I guess it's the night bazaar!

I have avoided this restaurant in the past due to it looking very commercial and this effecting quality sometimes perceptions are wrong and this is one of these occasions. I decided to try this with family and from the start the staff was friendly and service fast. The food also came fast with my wife ordering the steamed fish which was... More

The eatery is like anywhere else. The food is decent. Respectable. We just hung out waiting for the lady Boys show across from us. Had a couple of beers and ate reasonably. The plus about it is that it is in the night market. So there are many places to choose from to sit and eat. We liked this for... More

I have been visiting this restaurant for many years, it had always been reasonable to good. But my last two visits were extremely disappointing. I had a main course that was so bad I could not eat it, my two Thai friends complained that their seafood was not fresh and also didn't finish their food The prices are high, the... More

and vegetable! The food was tasty. The service very friendly. We paid for one bottle of beer, one grilled fish, vegetable and noodles and steam rice Baht 700! I can say the dinner was very good. Last year we had dinner at the same place and because of the quality we came back.

Didn't find anything that special about the seafood but it is fun to sit around at night, the restaurant across had better food in my opinion. Although the duck I had was AMAZING. And free wifi too! Can't complain.
