Came for a light dinner. The food is good quality but the Thai food seems to be adjusted for western taste - light on heat and flavor. I was a bit disappointed but learned not to go to a western style place for Thai food. I do recommend the place though.

Thanks for the review and glad you recommend us. I think you will find that a majority of Thai owned restaurants will also change the food for Farang (foreign) customers. Otherwise we get allot of food sent back because its too spicy and once added you cant take the heat away. All of our staff speak good English and those... More

I went to archers with some friends my hostel. The place instantly had a good welcoming vibe. We sat at a table and was welcomed by the host, who I think was called mark, who happens to be a fellow Londoner and West Ham fan which meant I took an instant liking to him! Some people had English food ,... More

My friend and I both ate breakfast at Archer's: she ordered a set menu breakfast that included a more "classic" American breakfast, and I ordered a healthy, fruit-gramnola-yogurt breakfast. We both enjoyed our meals immensely. In addition, the coffee was surprisingly well made for a non-coffee shop venue.

Visited here on Sunday after looking online and have to agree with the online comments. The roasts were like back home unlike others we've tried around Asia. Great staff, owners and atmosphere. Shame we had to rush off from here to get our coach but we'd definitely go back if we were in chiang mai. Thanks Ian and jane

If you visit Chiang Mai and want a relaxed, friendly place to eat and drink- Archers is the place. A wide range of delicious Thai and western food; I would thoroughly recommend the Sunday roast, freshly caught white snapper and the home made falafel. Mark and Sa welcomed us by name after the first visit and we have made this... More

We wanted some non-Thai food to sooth our sensitive stomachs and this was recommended to us. Went in after a long sweaty day exploring Chiang Mai for a cold beer and some food. The pie and mash was the best we've ever had and the banoffee crumble is to die for. Excellent place. Will go back for the roast which... More

We are staying in Chiang Mai for a couple of months and decided to try to find a roast as a bit of a home comfort. Came across archers online and gave it a try. It was brilliant the best roast we have had in SEA so good we have been back every week. Have only sampled the lamb and... More
