A fantastic place to hang out. It's easy going, the atmosphere is relaxed and the beer is cold. The bar itself is quaint, calm, and at a good location in old town not too far from guesthouses. This makes it good for a beer after a long day trekking or a pre-drink to help get your swivel on at Zoe... More

Good food and service..run by a nice couple. They do a quiz night on a Tuesday and a very busy Sunday roast. Clients seem to be many local expats always and there always seem to be a nice mix of people and good back ground music

Made thoroughly welcome in a new city, good football banter, the cheapest beer around and comfortable, enjoyable surroundings :)

I've had many great meals and too many great nights to remember at Archer's Chiang Mai. A local pub away from home. Well worth stopping in for the grub, drinks and friendly atmosphere you're missing from home.

...I got married there. Amazing massaman curry, affordable cider, relaxed pub trivia on Tuesdays, and thanks to Sa, the most gracious service in town. And GREAT wedding parties.

Without wanting to slip into cliche, this place has everything. It feels like a 'local boozer' for the expat community here with a great quiz night and a charasmatic landlord who spins some great tunes and is always happy to have a chat over a beer or 6. The landlady, his wife, ensures the place runs like clockwork and is... More

Been living in Chiang Mai for over six months now and Archer's is definitely one of my most frequented restaurants/bars. The Tuesday Quiz Night is great, but I also stop in regularly for the food. Both Thai and Farang food are excellent - high quality meats, reasonably priced, good portion size and, most importantly, delicious. Plus, the comfortable atmosphere, friendly... More

Archer's has all the great qualities I look for in a restaurant and bar, great hosts in Mark and Sa, fabulous food, and a great Trivia night held each Tuesday. The Sunday Roast is a highlight of the menu if you are a traveller looking for the comforts of home. Every visit to Archers has been an enjoyable one and... More

Came for a light dinner. The food is good quality but the Thai food seems to be adjusted for western taste - light on heat and flavor. I was a bit disappointed but learned not to go to a western style place for Thai food. I do recommend the place though.

Thanks for the review and glad you recommend us. I think you will find that a majority of Thai owned restaurants will also change the food for Farang (foreign) customers. Otherwise we get allot of food sent back because its too spicy and once added you cant take the heat away. All of our staff speak good English and those... More
