Fantastic Thai food!

The food here is outstanding, the staff is friendly, and we left feeling like we'd found a gem of a restaurant. We couldn't recommend it more highly. Two of us ate a full dinner - 2 large soups, 1 shrimp and cashew entree and 1 carrot cake plus coke for less than $10. Amazing!

Had the Panang Curry. Perfect heat, but don't worry. Too spicy? The AaaaMAZING blueberry cheesecake will cool you off!

This is a friendly place with a fairly wide range of British Ales for sale. The place has free wifi and a large map of Thailand on the wall to talk about your trip with mates.

Didn't try the food, but 200 baht for some real ale is not bad, especially after several weeks of suffering with Leo and Singha. Nice premises and service.

My wife and I are spending the month here in Chiang Mai, and we are extremely happy to have found Archer's. We love our Thai and eat tons of it all around town, but when we need a break we head here--Mr. Archer and his wife serve up wonderful English brekky, an amazing Sunday Lunch with extremely tasty gravy--amazing cuz... I've been there for a lunch. The restaurant is on a busy street so it's noisy. It's nice little terrace in front but too close to the road and in the back the terrace is too close to the kitchen and the toilet. The food are expensive. I can't say it wasn't good but just normal food. The staff are... More

We visited every night on our recent trip to Chiang Mai. First night (tues) was a quiz night but we were to late to enter but still good fun and good atmosphere. Owned by Mark (a West Ham supporter!) and his lovely wife (sorry, Thai name escapes me again!). We spent a couple of nights chatting with her but missed... More

You say hardly any sauce and very little salt when actually there was no sauce and minimal salt. However relish, ketchup, mustard, mayo and surprise surprise salt was also provided. The chicken was breast (as advertised) so yes that can be a little dry if you didn't add some mayo or something but the beef - well I just refer... More

After a few months in Asia, we wanted some home comforts and Archers offers a good standard of English food - bangers and mash, steak pie, Sunday roasts etc. Worth a visit!
