Excellent Food, Great Atmosphere & Service

The building does not look that inviting at first, but once inside it's very nice and friendly with decent food. It can be a bit hot inside in the afternoons so the outdoor seats are probably best if available. The owner was very friendly, and helpful too.

we came here twice and had pie and mash and a sunday roast, both were truly delicious. The staff were happy and helpful, the owner was welcoming and friendly. Has chilled out atmosphere and prices are very reasonable considering the quality of the food. Id recomend this place to anyone. Especially those who miss english food and have had too... More

Had a delicious breakfast here this morning. Hadn't read reviews, just found the place while out on a walk. Had the small breakfast - good food priced well at 120 baht. Will likely be back before leaving Chiang Mai!

Heard about this via lonely planet. The owners and staff are so friendly and the food is delish. Easy food for backpackers with burgers/western food (85-165baht) but got to try the thai food with the classics - pad thai, chicken cashewnuts 80baht and under. Milkshakes, soft drinks and 8 beers to chose from and also cider which is hard to... More

Stumbled in here trying to escape the night market and loved it. The panang curry was among the best in Thailand, and we finished it off with an amazing carrot cake. Prices were reasonable for the quality, about 80 bhat for panang.

Nice little British Pub with what seemed like a regular Sunday crowd. I had the Pork Roast as the Lamb wasn't "ready". Generous portion of Pork, Potatoes, and Veggies, couldn't finish it all. Price was excellent at 225 bt ($ 6.82). Food was a bit on the cool side, prefer warm/hot. Taste wise pretty good. Staff were excellent and the... More

We wanted to have a break from Thai food during our visit to Chiang Mai. We saw all the great reviews about Archers so we thought we would give it a try. The restaurant and food were fine but more expensive than I expected. Plus they did not accept visa. This surprised us given it was marketed as an English... More

Thanks for the review and I'm sorry you felt we were only average. I do want to state that we are the same price or cheaper than other restaurants you have reviewed favourably and yet you say we are expensive. Did you order a European beer or cheese (which is clearly priced) because you may want to look at Thai... More

With a friend of mine went to the restaurant Archers, in Chiang Mai, and we found a nice atmosphere that accompanied us until the end of our dinner. The owners are two lovely people, we talked with them and they suggested also something to eat. The food is good although we found better but certainly not at the same price.... More
