Delicious, cheap, lovely atmosphere

Tucked away in a quiet street next to the Sakorn Residence just one street back from the riverside is this gem of a curry house. The atmosphere is so relaxing and pleasant as are the staff. The food is delicious and surprisingly cheap. It was so good, we dined here a few times!

A great restaurant in a brilliant location, with very good service. The menu is as the name suggests one typically found in a curry house, though I found the curries to be quite tame. It is very much targeted at the local expat Community. In a nutshell "Westernised curry." say no more.

It wasn't the best Indian food I've had but it was good. The atmosphere was nice insdie but the wines on offer were quite expensive for what they were but you don't have to order them. Nothing spectacular but I guess you cannot expect excellent Indian cuisine in Thailand, that's for sure. The homemade dessert was very good!!!

This is my second review for Hinlay, an old favourite of ours. We had heard that the restaurant had been renovated, so were keen to find out whether the charm was still there. Well the answer is yes and no! The renovation has enclosed the building in glass, and it looks lovely. There is a new attention to style, with... More

We wandered down from our hotel to try this restaurant as we are lovers of Indian food. Wow! The samoosas were light, crispy and delicious and the tamarind sauce perfect. Our curries were beautiful, the garlic naan divine. With two beers the cost was 500 baht. We will be back for sure.

We had a lovely Indian meal here - tasty after a fortnight of Thai and Malaysian cuisine. Unfortunately we were the only ones here - deserves customers as setting service and food were lovely.

This is restaurant is a nice little gem with lovely owners. The food was pretty spicy (which curry is suppose to be) and we aren't the best at spicy food but we had heard good things about this place and definitely wasn't let down.

What a wonderful meal we had at this renovated gem of a restaurant. if you have not been there for a while then you will be pleasantly suprised at the change the owners have made. It's now enclosed in glass so it's like sitting in a conservatory-so very pleasant. The food was as close as we could get to the... More

Having been to this place a number of times now and experience slow service on the last occasion I wasn't put off a decided to try them again. Alas as like the last time several dishes on the menu were unavailable and the service again left a bit to be desired. In saying that the food I had was tasty... More

Had a very good lunch there. Good portions, reasonable prices, clean and comfortable. The one thing I didn't like was the naan bread - not good - but the Hinlay pork curry, the chicken mussaman, the pumpkin curry and the sweet lass I were all good. Will definitely put it on my list of regular lunchtime venues.
