The naan was of the frozen super market variety, and the dal reminded me of my cooking from my university days. Not coming here again.

Hinlay is a friendly Indian Restaurant, that does good Indian vurries, that are adapted to western tastebuds though. Everything is fresh and tastefull, but If you want your chickem massala hot, do ask for Phet! This is a family run business, which adds to the cosy atmosphere at this small restaurant. Open for dinner from 5 till 9 pm.

Loved Hinlay curry house...tiny little restaurant tucked away in a quiet little street that served some of the best food we enjoyed in Thailand. Very in expensive, clean, wonderful staff and the taste....fantastic

Glad we followed other's TA recommendations and ate here. Delicious curries, good service and a clean and friendly place. I'm vegetarian and there were plenty of options for me (a nice change)... We're going to go back again during our stay for sure.

I loved it. I did not dislike a thing about it. For the reviewers that had a problem with the lizards, they are harmless little geckos, and it's not like they are bothering you. We went here 3 nights of our honeymoon. My husband loved it because he could eat enough without having to pay too much. The curries were... More

This is just a lovely family-run restaurant set in a private, clearly much-loved garden. Mine host and his wife are friendly and welcoming - and the food is just great! Their curries are from all over the place - Thailand, India, Malaysia and elsewhere, so you are bound to find something that you like. It's not so easy to find,... More

Easiest way to get here is tell the cabby to take you to sarkon residence hotel. Next to the hotel is a coffee shop and next to that is the restaraunt. The naan, chicken tikka masala was not indian but rather a fusion between indian and thai. The service is great and eating out in a nice home garden adds to... More

Got the chicken tikka masala and aloo gobi. The wasn't creamy as expected but still delicious. The yellow rice was very flavorful, but I think the best was the smoothies. We had a coconut one and a banana one. They were great. As of writing the location on the map on TripAdvisor was incorrect. It's next to Sakorn Apartments, so... More

Best food so far in Chiang Mai, couldn't fault it, can't wait to go back. Girlfriend had the pumpkin curry, I had the shrimp curry, both really delicious, mine accompanied by naan. All wonderful, nice place, nice staff, can't fault it.
