Great food and service!

My wife and I came here on our first evening in Chiang Mai as we were too tired to go out and also were curious given the reviews in Tripadvisor. I love this restaurant, it's always great to enjoy a fine dining experience in amongst days of spicy thai food. Last night was certainly no exception, I enjoyed a Bellini, some foie gras, some excellent pasta and a lovely frozen limoncello, all served by friendly and professional staff and a very charming maitre d....what's not to love?

We ate here as a break from Thai food( which is great ) . We have eaten at this restaurant during most of our trips to chiang mai over the past 7 years and it never disappoints ! I had the chefs salad to start which was fabulous followed by a steak which was great - they also have a... More

At any Italian restaurant I eat Caprese and Pasta to test it quality. This one had not the first and only two choices. Carbonara and Arabiatta. Both poor as one knows but we try both. To say they were poor is already a compliment. Neither was cooked correctly. Both were tasteless and the sauces of second quality. There are many... More

I am an SPG Platinum member, and I reside in Chiang Mai Thailand. The Le Meridien Chiang Mai is therefore my second home and I always love dining at Favola, hence my many previous reviews on not just the Le Meridien, but Favola Italian Restaurant. It is one of my absolute regulars. If you want an exceptional dinning experience in... More

We first ate here 4 years ago and made sure we came back with a group last Thursday. Then after a few more days of only Thai food, we had to come back to Favola again on our last evening. Staff is very lovely and responsive to requests. When I didn't finish my spinach side dish, the wait-staff inquired as... More

Loved the atmosphere, the wine list was terrific and Andy, the restaurant manager, met us like we were old time firends. Our waitress, Phan, was delightful and offered us insight into 2 of the temples we wanted to visit - Wat ram Poeng and Wat Umong. WELL WORTH A VISIT TO THIS RESTAURANT!!!

After several days in Thailand, I was craving a fine dining experience. It was very difficult to locate fine dining options in Chiang Mai and Favola fits the bill perfectly. It was so good that we dined here on two nights during our stay in Chiang Mai. The food was delicious but the service sets this restaurant apart. Andy was... More
