What a find! On a recent visit to Chiang Mai, and in the middle of the largest night markets I have ever seen, I stumbled on Favola, an Italian Restaraunt located upstairs in Le Meridian. Have travelled extensively and I can only say I was unbelievably impressed with this Restaraunt. The food was in my view Michelin standard, the decore... More

This latest brunch experience at Favola was probably my best. Lobster, pan fried foie gras, duck rillettes, but my favorites were: - a festival of Italian cheeses - a chocolate lover dessert offering, all very good, plus an excellent creme brulee. Many nice looking pieces of meat that I did not try, but looked very good. Highly recommended: only once... More

If you are a local or tourist and you want a memorable meal in central Chiang Mai in terms of ambiance, value and imaginative cuisine, La Favola is top of my list for an evening out! Whether with your significant other for an intimate dinner or with friends, Andy, Michael and Jicky and their wonderful team - front of house... More

Much better Italian places near the river that are reasonable. The prices are outrageous and the food wasn't that good.

Today, we visited Favola with friends to celebrate Easter, what a brunch, so much seafood to choose from and the lamb chops were so delicious especially with the mint jelly, the cocktails were great and as for the assortment of chocolate eggs and chocolate, there is no more to be said, great food, and great value, we had a great... We had a beautiful dinner at Favola during our stay at the Le Meridien 3 weeks ago. From the moment we entered the restaurant (2 floor at the Le Meridien) the waiting staff were super friendly. Our table had a view of the open kitchen which was really nice to see how the chefs prepared our food. The service was... More

Me and my friends we are expert of Italian food, and professionals of the Mediterranean diet, but other than that if we chose this restaurant was because of the good reviews we read. There are some tricks to use in order to recognize the good Italian cuisine based on the quality/price and the details that make up the course. La... More

I visit Favola together with my girlfriend during my stay in Chiang Mai. We had a fantastic dinner in Favola. We loved the atmosphere of this restaurant very elegant & but still friendly with a show kitchen and a beautiful glass wine cellar with hundreds of wine bottles in the middle of the restaurant. The service was excellent. Very friendly... More

Party of 3. Great food, mostly inspired by the Italian cuisine. Gigantic selection of primarily Italian wine in all price categories. Remember to order side dish(es) with your steaks. Service was excellent, our English-speaking hostess was very efficient and eager to tell about food and wine. Good experience. Would recommend anytime.
