A favorite of the locals I understand. All Thai menu so if you can't read Thai just point to the picture. Lunch was very good and plain atmosphere.

A walk down Nimmanhaemin Rd, "Eat Street", served up some interesting haunts. This was the first we looked at, with plenty of patrons, comfortable well priced dishes listed on the menu...but, we kept walking for the elusive "one"!!. Bottom line was, we came back here, and no regrets at all. Restaurant was clean, fresh woven table cloths, and the food... More

I've now eaten here four times in 3 weeks; which speaks for itself. My first impressions from outside were favourable as it presents itself well. Inside was even better, an attractive quirky decor almost reminiscent of an English tea room. A selection of clocks adorns the walls and the only one which worked had time dimensions of its own; each... More

We thought it looked interesting in a wonky sort of way and decided to try it. UNLIKE so many of the restaurant along the drag, this one was friendly, family oriented, and had curry to die for - specifically the kao soi, made with both crispy and non noodles. They certainly don't hurry you - in fact, my dish was... More

Stumbled upon this place while looking to escape the heat in Chiang Mai. Food was ok. We had a couple of "nam prik" dips with steamed vegetables and some sausage and pork rind, also northern style curry. Drinks were very small which meant we had to order more which seemed to bulk out the bill a bit. What let it... More

As I am having dinner at this restaurant with my wife, I am typing this review. This is a family run Thai Chinese restaurant with 24 years history. It has a retro furnishing with quiet ambience, and soft background music playing. Basically unaffected by the bustling traffic and modern eateries. As we wanted some non-spicy food, the man boss introduced... More

I had heard about this place and decided to give it a shot. It was a long walk from the centre but i didn't regret it. Nice simple decor, prompt service and a wide variety of dishes ! I tried a couple of soups, tom yum and a herbal soup, the sausage dish and a curry. Great stuff overall. Not... More

I have no idea why anyone would think this food is good. It's in the bottom 2 in all of Thailand for me. And the other was maybe slightly better, but also awful. Nearly inedible. I do not recommend this at all. None of the 5 dishes we ordered were okay. And we kept trying and racking up the bill... More

This place is a marvel of some classical Northern Thai dishes you aren't likely to find elsewhere. The menu is very broad so it's nice if you have several people so you can try more dishes. The herbal soups are to die for and make it hard for me to go on to the next course. Many aromatic and herbal... More
