You pass through a small gallery to reach the restaurant, which is right along the Ping river. Evening was nice, with candles, live quiet Thai music, no rush. Food was typical thai, good, not outstanding Service started well but then disappeared, not sure why. Nice view of river and lighted bridge....a few mosquitos - wear socks and long pants.

One of the few CM restaurants on the river- with an awesome, romantic quiet view at night! We tried the Riverside first, but they were all full. Good view was so noisy! This place was empty except the first row along the river, though really every table would have been A+.Really can't understand that, as the place was incredible! Food... More

This has to be one of the most enchanting restaurants in Chiang Mai. It is a 40 minute walk from the old city, or an 80 baht tuk tuk ride. The front is a posh curio shop. You then pass through the kitchen, which is a sign of confidence in the product. You finally emerge onto a series of terraces... More

I chose the Gallery as the venue to celebrate my birthday while we were visiting Chiang Mai, based in no small part on helpful Tripadvisor reviews. We were definitely not disappointed. The setting out on the deck at riverside was sublime. The weather behaved itself and the night was balmy, no mosquitoes intruded and the subdued lantern light made for... More

We had several meals to share the Duck was a stand out dish . The view of river was lovely and would be very romantic even though we had children with us. The Duck was the best meal by far we had in Thailand it just melted in our mouths.

The food at Gallery is only average and the service is rather slow. But the setting alongside the Ping River is superb. Views of the city across the river and of the lighted bridge at night are very pleasant. Prices are very reasonable. The paintings, crafts and antiques in the entrance room of the restaurant are almost like a museum.

The location is great, along the river. You enter the restaurant through a beautiful art gallery. Food is great although extremely hot and spicy. Thai food can be asked less or not spicy at all so you may enjoy all the savors but it was very hard to get the food as I wanted it. If you are like me... More

Great place for a decent meal, the best we had in Chiang Mai. The Khantoke was very good. Excellent view on the river front. Bang for your buck!

The service was impolite, inattentive and inadequate. The food marginally worse. We ordered a larb gai which for some reason had crispy, deep fried bits of mystery meat in it. The duck came with nothing to accompany it and was overcooked, and the pad se ew was pasty and rather bland. I would advise against it.

There is a shop in front of the Gallery restaurant selling art and handicrafts so we found it quite by accident when we went in to look at the shop. We liked the look of the restaurant and so decided to come back there for dinner as it was within walking distance of our hotel. It is a beautiful setting... More
