Cheap but quality food! Nice environment! What do you expect with this value? One of the most enjoyable meals we had in Chiang Mai!

After reading the good reviews we had to go eat there. We were very disappointed from the food. The portions were very small, the quality of the meat and seafood were poor, And the taste of the food is just ok and much less... So if you're thinking coming here, my recommendation- don't! There a lot of good restaurants around... More

Thought it was a cafeteria but it turns out it's a restaurant offering Thai food. They have English and Thai on the menu. Next table were some Chinese people checking what we were eating and asking us what to order. Explained in Chinese to them and helped them order. Sometimes it really could be a problem for some tourists that... More

This restaurant is hidden away down a quiet street. It's a nice setting and the food is always very nice.

I've often read about this restaurant on Trip Advisor, and after several attempts I was excited to finally find it. What a disappointment. I found the food expensive, and the waiter was unable to talk about the dishes because he couldn't speak a word of English. I finally settled on a crispy pork salad, and I'm sure my face fell... Tucked into a relatively quiet Soi off Sirimankalajarn, this place is a nice find and great for a relaxing outdoor meal. The clientele seem to be tourists and fairly well-heeled Thais. The prices aren't bad but not screamingly bargaintastic either. The food was well prepared, good portion size and nicely spiced. Service was par for the course -- a bit... More

. . . NOT Nimmanhimen Soil 13. A search on Google Maps for Cafe de Nimmen will get you right there. Excellent food but lackadaisical service. Our party arrived at 8pm, and they had already run out of several items.

Recommend going in the late afternoon, and catch a drink outside while the sun sets. Chilled atmosphere, in a very quiet lane, and great food. Definitively the best experience we had in ChiangMai The portions are generous (go easy when you order) yet the prices are very competitive. It is worth going for a walk in the little lanes between... More
