Nice setting, good food

Tucked into a relatively quiet Soi off Sirimankalajarn, this place is a nice find and great for a relaxing outdoor meal. The clientele seem to be tourists and fairly well-heeled Thais. The prices aren't bad but not screamingly bargaintastic either. The food was well prepared, good portion size and... read more

Nice place. Good service. Very good meal and large plates. We discovered this restaurant today and sure, will go back another time before leaving Chiang Maï.

. . . NOT Nimmanhimen Soil 13. A search on Google Maps for Cafe de Nimmen will get you right there. Excellent food but lackadaisical service. Our party arrived at 8pm, and they had already run out of several items.

Recommend going in the late afternoon, and catch a drink outside while the sun sets. Chilled atmosphere, in a very quiet lane, and great food. Definitively the best experience we had in ChiangMai The portions are generous (go easy when you order) yet the prices are very competitive. It is worth going for a walk in the little lanes between... More

First time I went here for lunch and got the khao soy soup with pork rib. It was pretty decent. My girlfriend got the stir fried vegetables and they were overcooked, limp, and lacked any real flavor. And service is not that great. It takes forever to get a menu or the check.

Mostly are Thai and fashion foods. Foods portion size are big. And I remembered one of the dishes is raw fresh prawn that's difficult to find in chiang Mai. Food is good and fair. And my hubby and I liked the salad which is pig liver salad fried with onion and colourful peppers!! But one thing I do suggest that... More

Chaing Mai friends took us to Cafe de Nimman which they have been frequenting since its previous location. We had been hungry for ribs and ordered two kinds-one fried with garlic and the other in a dark brown sauce, I don't remember exactly. They were absolutely perfect. Perfectly cooked, falling off the bone and perfectly spiced. I would return to... More

We spent a loooooong time trying to find this place. Yes it's cute and off the beaten path. But the waitstaff is young and thoughtless. One waitress was eating while cleaning of previous guests table, another served us a plate of rice while wiping her snotty-nose with her hand. Another let an old dirty dog wander past her into the kitchen.... More

Cafe de Nimman is one of those finds you won't forget. Six of us ventured into this cozy restaurant, recently moved to a new location, to experience a truly delicious lunch. We had a succulent deep fried fish that had been cut into serving pieces and then drenched with a semi-spicy sauce. This was accompanied by a very tasty Tom... More
