Layback atmosphere especially upstairs to relax. Food choice is wide and very tasty and original Thai cuisine. Loved it thank you.

A standby for vegetarian food in a kind of 1970s ambience, with plenty of spritual-hippies calling in. The soups were fantastic, especially the kausoi soup; I did find the fried foods a bit greasy. The location is great and the people who work there are lovely. Prices very reasonable.

When i use the word perfect, it is really perfect. Food & Service & price & location. Just around the big junction at Thapae Gate, around Black Canyon Coffee.

Had a lunch in this place: food was tasty but before food you face the interior of the place and it wasn't pleasant at all. As introduction to vegetarian cuisine we brought our parents here and soon understood were wrong: horrible toilet and place to wash hands which can destroy all your further meal, sticky tables and very poor design... This restaurant is amazing! For your healthy snack, Thai food, Japanese food, or fried foods and burgers, this place is brilliant. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

delicious food in chilled out surroundings. although im not a veggie i was delighted with th variety of choices on the menu, everything i tried and tested was lovely. My favourite has to be the pumkin soup. Great to visit with friends but i would be happy eating here alone too. nice relaxed atmosphere - sit upstairs if there's room!

We went to Aum about 5 times during our 3 week holiday. It's a good place to get vegan food, at a reasonable price. Most dishes were of a good standard, although a couple were quite bland. The juices and smoothies are good too. Generally the service is good, and the staff polite and friendly. The downside is that occasionally when... More

Went there for lunch - had the tempeh burger which was very good. Should have asked for avocado on it to increase the delicious-ness. Oh well. Shakes were very nice. The Japanese rolls were interesting. Would definitely go back for the food. Wish there was a little more Western food options as so many other places have Thai veggie. We... More

My first visit to Aum's was over four years ago. The night I left Chiang Mai, it was the last place I ate, and since returning to Chiang Mai I have visited it at least four times. It is one of the other restaurants in Chiang Mai that I can recommend to visitors I meet.

A lovely little place that offers a wide array of original choices. Everything is fresh and full of flavour. This quickly became my favorite address in Chiang Mak.
